I like the way the drum sounds. What size is it? You mentioned you tighten the top head tighter than the bottom? How tight? How do you tune your drum heads?
Is it true that the snare tophead can be tighten untill the lugs cant turn around anymore? Btw i'm asian drummer. I just want to know what happen. Because i heard alots from many drummers said " good snare is the one that tight like a table top or somethings. Now i did that. But i'm worry if anything harm might happen to my snare shell. Because i tune in very very tight. I could go wrong?

Push against the center and then tighten the keys until the ripples are gone. Then, based on how it sounds 1" away from the key, tighten/loosen each key to sound identical to the one across from it

I see that majority of drummers have their bottom reso a litl tighter than top not a lot. But tighter
I used to do that but started tuning my batter tighter than my reso and it changed the sound tremendously....really works
