@@Yoboyaustin1 just checked the box score. That pass was ruled incomplete. Looked like he caught it but nope. Either way, 2 yards or 51 yards.... Yards don't equal points.
@elche1976 Theres not a debate it was a catch and it was overturned later on to be a catch. Analysts got confused by the refs ruling. The analysts thought the the sifeline jugde ruled it incomplete but he was ruling it short of the goalline. ESPN just never updated their stats
Remember Jon Williams, former ESPN media valuation Analyst. He said, "BYU was the money shot during Big12 expansion, worth a out $4 million for the other 11 teams. If thats worth $44 million net revenue + BYU's share at $31 million, it means BYU's annual net value was about $75 million, similar to what Notre Dame and other huge programs are worth. Utah was the least valuable program in the Pac12, at the time arguing its value to ESPN at $50 mollion but f8nd8ng out it was a drag in a c9nference ESPN and F9x did not think worth $25 million/program/year. Utes were actually worth 50% less that Oregon and UW or around $20 million.
I like the comment about "killer mentality" at BYU. After watching the Alamo bowl, I'm hopeful the Y remains confident for the sake of the B12. I'd prefer Baylor wins it all however - LOL. I see Utah as continually being unhappy in the B12. If the SEC or B1G expands, take Utah. I don't care much for the BYU vs Utah rivalry anyway as stated in this video. It'd be a whole lot funner to see BYU stay in the B12 and Utah in the B1G and then meeting each other in a CFP. Even better to see CU get to a CFP and then drilling Utah in a CFP.
There are no game days off in the Big 12, anyone can beat anyone else. With only 9 conference games and 16 teams there will be a log jam at the top. Tie breakers are crucial for who will make the Big 12 Conference Championship Game.
I grew up a BYU fan in Southern California, went to BYU football games everywhere I could go, BYU FOOTBALL AND WRESTLING CAMP, and then went there straight from High School. As much love and passion that I have for BYU is equal to the hate I have for the Utah Utes. I love the HOLY WAR. On my church mission to England and Wales, if my companion was a Ute fan I guarantee our time together would end in a fist fight and even the Mission President was a Utah Grad, a large donor and on the Board for U of U School of Business. It was hard for me to like that especially when he would talk about the Utes. On my Preparation Days (no suit required) I would be decked out in BYU drip head to toe. Trust me it is a Holy War 365 days a year, fought anywhere there are LDS (Mormons) that are either Cougars or Utes, and this died in the blue wool Cougar LOVES IT! Go Cougs 😼 We bested them this season with Retzlaff QB and scalped them 2 years ago with Jaren Hall QB both in SLC, next season we get them in Provo and I can’t wait! You can lose every game and salvage the season by winning the HOLY WAR. Nothing else matters.
BYU is highly respected and this isn’t a surprise. Great coaching, great players and the best culture in the country. ESPN appreciates the huge number of viewers that BYU brings. We’ll continue to lead the conference to where we can all be respected.
I can’t speak for Drake, but I go to a Baptist church so no. They’re just an entertaining team and I like their coach. Their fans have also been dope on here so I’ve enjoyed covering them. - TJ
Well, that turned out to be a really idiotic assumption now didn't it? They're a great team, great school doing things the right way. Why not want them to win?
I love watching BYU’s amazing fanbase. BYU was clearly the Jewel of the new 8 teams that joined our Big 12 conference. Well done 👍🏽
BYU was like 4 yards short of winning against KU
And 5 yards short against ASU.
Grenades and horseshoes. Close doesn't count.
And they should've lost to utah and oklahoma state
He was 2 yards close to winning actually chase roberts caught the ball at the 2 yard line as long as I remember

Great! The Cougars still have plenty of room for improvement. Jake needs to take another step, and the D line is being replaced in total. Go Cougars!
Any prediction now is almost certain to be wrong.

I thought ESPN picked Utah again to win the BIG 12? Wow! It often goes extreme in both directions .
Vegas odds picked Utah from what I understood.
Thar was Vegas.
I would love to have BYU play Utah in the Big 12 title game!

Much appreciated!
... and there were games they could've won.
There were games they could have won and multiple they could have lost. It goes both ways.
@elche1976 what I said, in regards to their only talking close games they won. Cheers!
well regarding the asu game a byu player leaked the plays to sam leavitts bro.
Why do you want BYU to win and be good so badly lettme guess LDS Faith huh?
Which guy?
