I have found that with Essie polishes, especially the older formula with the older brush, I have to put a big blob on my finger and spread it out as evenly as I can. It helps keeping the polish from being too streaky.
I have two of the newer formulas with the bigger brush and they are PERFECT!
I had "mint candy apple" on my nails in over a week! My favourite!
You'll probably never read this, because this is an old video, but THANK YOU for the tip on cutting out the name of the label and sticking in on the bottom of the bottle! I have been struggling with the same problem as you for a while now. I can't believe I didn't think of that myself.

I don't know if you want another neutral-grey kind of colour, but Master Plan is really gorgeous! It's a little sheer, but it makes it quite subtle, which I quite like.

Oh, my! You certainly have quite the collection of Essie polishes! I bought my first bottle of Wet & Wild which I'm currently wearing in "I Need a Refresh-Mint". It went on wonderfully and it appears to be about as long-lasting as any of the other high end polishes I own.
No worries love! I've been keeping an eye out in my local TKMaxx too, but all I've ever seen is OPI, Orly and Nails Inc - I'll keep checking :) x

Essie Aperitif definitely on the list, so pretty. I was eying the red polishes, but couldn´t decide which one is the best. Because they are expensive I am only investing in colours I know I will wear. But after that one I will buy one natural, opaque shade as well.
Every time I finish a new essie polish, i clean the big brush and put it on an old polish and throw the old brush away! amazing video :)

I WAS GOING TO SUGGEST BIKINI SO TEENY! i knew that if i waited until the end of the video you might have said something about it! I think that because I am so obsessed with mint candy apple, when bikini so teeny was released I just fell in love with it. You definitely have to pick it up! I have been wearing it ALL summer! It's such a fun shade!
I used to wear Marshmallow to get a white french mani. It's very sheer and streaky though. My mom wears Waltz and I love it.
I love Essie as well; I love the same shades! But I live in the U.S., so it's easier to find them around here. Great video!

I love absolutely shore! My fave, does take a few coats tho. Try 1 coat of mint candy apple and then 1 of absolutely shore on top, less of a faf and looks just as good :) x

Mint Candy Apple is a legendary shade, haha! I have Peach Daiquiri on with a cherry nail art on my ring finger, and I really like it!

Loved this video, will definitely be updating my Essie collection soon! I think Splash of Grenadine is my current favourite, even though it's so summery and bright :D
I only have one Essie polish (144- Eternal Optimist) which is a lovely soft pink but this video has definitely made me think I'd love to get some more! I'm in love with the neutral shades. Another brilliant video :) x
