One thing to look out for before buying a used Altis 1.6L or Grande 1.8L is the cold start rattle caused by a malfunctioning camphaser and/or Timing Chain tensioner. This is a common issue in the ZR series engine. Other than that, if maintained properly, these engines can last a very long time.

Pakistani market is small, big companies will never localize their cars here as it is not feasible to them hence care prices will keep increasing, best for us is to import the cars from Japan as their cars are right handed drive same as is Pakistan and they are cheaper, if govt reduces taxes then those imported cars will be in reach (price wise) to almost all middle class public. This will also open business for spare parts of those cars. Otherwise car prices will keep increasing and quality will never be as per international market, also since car users are not in numbers so the chances are rare that govt will do something for such small chunk of people to address their issue like high prices.
Do a review on a very high milage car such as a civic or corrola. Like upwards of 2lac km to really tell people how well a maintained car can be. It will interesting

40-43 lacs with no SRS which was offered in civic's even in hardtop model (driver side only) which is a big turn off, i think the price is too much, although suspension wise corolla is rigid compared to any other PKDM car manufactured. Only if the price was reasonable then this acceptable for family or else 9th gen civic fb2 (Rebirth) is way better in every aspect atleast civic provide's basic function and safety features.
I bought this about 6 months ago. Worst decision i have ever made. Stability, handling, braking, and road grip wise, it is utter shit. No road feeling what so ever. Uncomfortable setting posture and seating position. I have recurring back aches bvz of this crap. Fuel average 9.5-10 km/l in city and 14.5 on longer journeys. Looks wise it's okay. Featureless car, no airbags, nothing. Overall, it is the worst Corolla i have ever owned. I replaced this with Altis 1.6 SR Cruisetronic 2013, and i regret it so bad.😢😢
This is honestly speaking the worst value for money car in 11th gen corolla,it costs like an altis,but has features of gli or xli, transmission is quite jerky when downshifting,one should either go for gli,or straight up jump for grande to get the features and better drive

Aap ne 2018 onwards Altis nhi dekhi phir. Aur real average of cultus is 13-14 in City and 18-19 on long.
