As someone who mains Brazil in Hoi4 it felt funny seeing Bitt3rsteel struggling for once considering the unstoppable force he usually is
Yep, vanilla Brasil is very strong, you can scale really fast. This mod makes it harder, bit it still is fairly easy to make it a strong nation.
I love playing Brazil. Conquering South America and supporting the Axis with lend leases so they can kill Russia is so much fun. Then I eat America. It's so epic when I see all of the Americas owned by Integralist Brazil. I've even Sea Lioned the UK a couple times a as Brazil. All in vanilla game.

I can't believe they made a focus tree for Brazil with combining two worst features of the game (faction management of Greece/Bulgaria and a civil war based on Spanish Civil War)
in my opinion if you wanna have a good experience with brasil in the mod, go with eighter the historical path with estado novo, or go with the elections with eighter the integralists or democrats...
it won't remove the faction management but will avoid civil war completely if done right, + if you play a lot it is very easy to deal with the factions, just the way it would be with bulgaria or greece.

I can accept Spanish civil war has complex features because it was irl but trying to turn Brazil (S)pain 2.0 sounds wrong.

I hate it, I cringe everytime when he's desperately trying to pronounce everything correctly in every language and utterly fails. Like If you know that you don't know how to pronounce something because you don't really know the accent, than why try so desperately. I cringe so badly everytime,.I hate it.

I very much want to see a run where Bittersteel *does* fire off the war economy early and causes an economic doomsday, and still try to salvage a run. It sounds hilarious.
I have a challenge idea: You can't research any new equipment + You can't change any division templates. The way to define equipment will be when you open the division editor, the equipment tab. Whatever you see there in the beginning will be the things you can use. You can research anything else + You can gain new templates through focuses, by conquering land and/or using foreign templates.
TLDR: You can't click "Save" in the template editor window. You can only use the default equipment in the "equipment" tab.

you can change your division name easily if u set it to a group and then a black box appears which you can click and changes it to an appropriate name btw love the mod

Are you going to make a video about almost every achievement? I’ve seen pretty much all of the ones you got and they really helped me but there are still plenty missing and some are outdated
When it comes to designing carriers you basically just want to maximize their deck space and make everything else as cheap as possible including the engine. The stats the later engines provide (mostly speed, which improves your evasion against enemy ship guns) only matter if they're getting shot at which they shouldn't be if you have screens and capital ships alongside them and the secondary guns/AA increase IC cost more than the stats they provide are worth. AA doesn't provide them a significant amount of protection against enemy air (the only way to do that effectively is have an entire class of ship with as many AA guns mounted as possible, usually done with super heavy battleships).

The Men of War 2 plug seems pretty interesting, I''m a Men Of War Assault Squad 2 and Company of Heroes 2 fan, the raids seem pretty good for a guy that likes campaign replayability like me
That's an amazing opportunity to ask Bitt3r to do the "Snakes on a plane" achievement (play brazil and paradrop rome)
Sadly I think the mod disables that.

I think for Germany you should play historical Germany in the World Ablaze mod. That’ll be hard enough of a challenge. It’s a very beefy mod, but makes sense once you learn the new things

Its great to see that the next DLC coming out in march is going to basically overhaul South America, especially Argentina and Brazil. Great to see this big mess of a country that I call home getting some love, even if it does not deserve it at all in the current times
This was a true Atlantic War! Maybe not a world war, but a definite fun experience. I have been trying this mod and unfortunately I feel you are so delayed by penalties that you are better off going vanilla hoi4 and just switching f ideology 😅
Mechanized plus rocket artillery shred most of things in single player. Especially if you stack speed modifiers.
