Till I think is rather quiete and reserved for the most part. He enjoys writing poetry and painting aswell as being out in nature, fishing and hunting. He was a swimmer in his youth and then was basket weaver before getting into music being a drummer. When Rammstein was being formed they wanted him as the singer, but he was shy and didn't feel comfortable in front of a crowd so he wore what became his trademark slit view polar expedition goggles. He wore them a lot in the early years. Being an outlandish character onstage helps him control his stage fright. He will often close his eyes to sing, very noticeable during slower songs, or he picks a point in the crowd or an object and focuses on that as he sings
Flake is often cast as the sort of "outsider" roll, this is often seen in the official music videos to. The story was he never "officially" joined the band. They kept asking him to join but he kept saying no, and then he just finally showed up to practice one day
You guys keep saying you'd like to know more, there are lots of documentaries on RUclips with subtitles where you get to see interviews and behind the scenes and stuff, they'd make for cool reactions. I particularly like their behind the scenes videos of writing and recording specific albums and making of videos, because you see their passion
They've had no line up changes in the 29 years they've been together and that plays a big part in how they perform so well together live. Yes, there are rare foul ups but they are rare and I think it's because they're all so in synch with one another. Flake has never confirmed that he's an official band member but his relationship with Till especially is wonderful. He's stated that he trusts Till implicitly, which says a lot about the Two of them. Till strikes me as very reserved in his private life. He certainly isn't the person you see in stage. Height wise, he's just over 6ft tall. Ollie and Flake are the tallest with Ollie at 6ft 7 and Flake only slightly shorter as I recall.
The one you saw was Paris. The performance of this song has changed up a few times over the years. Lot more fire and explosions now. If you get round to the Live Aus Berlin version from 1998 its different then to
The songs said to be a play on words of wedding vows. Du Hast is You Have but Du Hasst is You Hate. Both said the same. Their English version of Du Hast uses You Hate
I remember reading that pretty much all the crazy stuff that happens with Flake are his ideas. He was bored plus he's high energy so it's all good...I think he even mentioned it that being a keyboard player isn't that exciting and most girls don't really go for the keyboardist or pay much attention so he needed to do other stuff to stand out and it worked because Flake is well known and I couldn't imagine Rammstein without Flake 🙂
Please also react to this live performance of Diamant.. you can definitely see that he still suffers from stage fright, you can tell by the fact that he keeps his eyes closed through most of the song and also by how quickly he leaves the stage. ❤️ ruclips.net/video/bo6m6iB53bE/видео.html danke 🙂
Hello you two, one thing in advance, you are both great! I still have a suggestion, "Rammstein - Weisses Fleisch (Live from Madison Square Garden)" Weisses Fleisch = white meat
Stevie Wonder is still with us. Du hast mich is a bit of a play on words, meaning You have me, but Du hasst mich, pronounced the same means you hate me. That’s what I’ve been told anyway. Keep working on the Suehammer. Go slow. Don’t hurt yourself.
It was in "Los" Till has the Harmonica. Its just for that song

Yes, please do that more, even if they don’t talk about their personal lifes, you get a good impression, how they are, when they are not on stage.
It's all in the book... its a fun and fast read!
Thank you both so much for another great reaction to another Awesome Rammstein performance ❤️🥰🤘🏻🔥💯

Flake is the main songwriter in the band with guitarist Kruspe.
