- The three great pyramids of Giza are the most impressive and emblematic of Egyptian civilization. The pyramid of Khufu, the first of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, is the largest of all the pyramids in Egypt. The pyramid of Khephren, is that of the son of Kheops, and the pyramid of Mykerinos is the smallest and is unfinished. The Saqqara Necropolis is a large necropolis south of the Great Pyramids. It is home to the Step Pyramid of Zoser, considered the world's first pyramid.

Fabulous! I filmed the first opening of a new tomb at Saqqara, what a wonderful project that was. This documentary is excellent and brings back such memories.
