His First 5 fights in mma are worth watching , and his loss to Nogera is still one of the scariest fights in mma. He could have paralyzed Nogera. He has about 10 K1 fights that he fights in... anything after these timelines, he is just showing up for a paycheck for a bout under 1 minute long... But when he started, talent or not, he was a scary guy and has milked that for a couple decades now...

After Mirko Crocop shattered his orbital bone, requiring Bob to have emergency surgery, he never was the same. He never pushed forward and when struck, he would cover up and quit. In interviews, Sapp said that he wasn’t going to risk his body for a fight. He was there to collect a paycheck, nothing more.

I was gonna comment this until I seen your comment. Im old enough to remember him winning K-1 tournament which had the best kickboxers in the world at the time. Also seen him overpower and dominate a few world class MMA guys in Pride before he decided to not give it his all.

Bob Sapp the Beast (?) -- I wouldn't put this big guy up against a top-ranking female boxer (Ha...is Gabi Garcia from Brazil still fighting? She's 6'2 & almost as big as he is & far better skilled).
But he folds like a box. No sense of defense, no skills, no boxing instincts, and definitely no survival instincts -- just intimidating size. That doesn't usually last very long with another skilled heavyweight.
Against a guy like Stav -- all aggression & power, it's a no-contest. Maybe Bob should take up billiards.
