Man, the insane jealousy I have for your place is off the charts. I thought just maybe seeing your statues in custom cases would be great. But adding in your comics, your art, and even the games behind Bayonetta really makes your entire display pop out more. This video painfully makes me wish I could afford moducases =) If I can make one suggestion, that's certainly a style one that you might not agree with at all - painting white walls black or a dark grey really makes a room feel bigger. I used to have a smaller room with all white walls. But when I painted them a dark grey, not only did it feel bigger, but all the sunlight from outside didn't bounce around so much and the sun stopped being a problem that I had to find ways to completely cover over (windows, door cracks, etc). Fantastic 3-video series you made for these cases!
ya im loving the set up, just lots of rearranging when I can. I already repainted the room in an off white grey blue, just a fan of that color walls. I think if I black out what windows with a UV protect film will help.
Hell of a collection man. I wish I had the room for cases like that and room to spread my collection out. I really don't like having mine so crammed together but it's all I can do. I definitely agree with with uh someone else said the UV film to protect the stuff in there. I know that's something my uncle is looking to do to his house soon.
Nice setup! I know you’ve been in the game awhile when you see collectors with the original Ikea Besta window frames. Wish I had those. Mine has the black bordering around the glass which kills a couple of inches from my display setup.
Nice setup! I would add UV protective film to all the windows since you still have light coming through. I started doing that with my windows. It can be pain if you do it by yourself but it's worth it.
very cool room. i love the corner case! i agree with not loading up the shelves. that way each piece is showcased. it definitely has that museum look. simple, elegant, it really makes the art stand out.
Didnt know you were a Fighting Game Fan! Thats awesome! My favorite is Third Strike. I have so many memories with friends playing this game at the local arcade over the years. That rug is 🔥🔥🔥! Also like your collection of Fight Sticks!
oh ya big time street fighter fan, I been playing since the first game at my local teen center back in the late 80s to 90s of arcades. When SF4 came out I made my arcade sticks, built a small Asus set in the tv room and even went to EVO I think back in 2015 I think it was and made it out of the first round. I would keep playing but wasnt a fan of the core game of sf5 when I tested back at NYCC when it was being previewed.
@@VinceVellCUSTOMS Thats dope man! Never been to EVO, maybe someday. Yea SF4 was huge! I entered the Gamestop tournament when it released and also made it out the 1st round! Was a fun experience. Ive also built fightsticks since the PS2 days! Never felt SF5, but SF6 is on another level!
doubt I will get into sf6 as well, dont have the time or any plans to get a console to play it. seems fun but maybe when I watch some evo matches will see if the hype is there like in SF4, the hype during those years was so much fun. Sf5 killed it with boring game play.
"I wish I had a, you know, a bigger room and stuff" The most common phrase uttered by every collector ever 😅 Love the setup! I would also love to get some moducases, but the exchange rate and the cost to get them shipped to Australia is just brutal.
if I had the money I would extend the room and get rid of the screen porch in front of the house, but thats not gonna happen so still happy with what I got.
Beautiful display! Neat. Well lit. No crowded. Well displayed. Both Power Girl PFs. I like the OG. If u don't mind me asking, how long did it take to get your moducases?
it did take almost a year to get it all, but I think it was cause of the new corner parts. But it gave me plenty of time to redo my floor, paint the room and get the house ready so when they came I just have to put up and done.
Love the tour - has just the right amount of Power Girl, if you ask me! Just curious though, on your shelf under your TV, you have a All Star Super Squad book that I've never seen before, right beside the Adam Hughes Power Girl #2. What book is that, or is it a custom cover?
Yup custom cover I made, I commissioned Cris Delara to do me a PG portrait years ago and have it all over my walls, but I had this cover that was faded and made my own cover with her art and sent to back to her to sign and made a fun graded slab for it. I did a video on it as well. ruclips.net/video/4MjHTwdCkbQ/видео.html
I have found that most if not all so called art "professors" are stuck in the past and don't flow with the ever changing dynamics of art. Art never stays the same and neither does art appreciation. I never took any of these so called art "professors" seriously. Art is what you make it. If you're good at what you do there will be a market for it regardless of any so called trends.
Totally agree with keeping things uncluttered. I never did like collection's that are so packed you can't appreciate the individual pieces.
looks awesome!
if you ever wanna part with those besta doors Let me know!! 😁😁😁
sadly already got people claiming them that drop off items for me to repair, never realized how in demand the old ones still are.
It looks great! I like your mindset of having limited space keeping your collecting choices more grounded.

Awesome collection and setup Vince. Your attitude and energy is really wholesome and fun! Keep doing what you are doing man :D
Oh, I'm late to this tour. Very impressive! A fellow student of less is more I see, it's a living space with good energy and vibs. I like it.

ya I was thinking of doing that before I did the sun block out shades but prob will do it anyway when I get a chance.

Gotta love that Poison print by Dandonfuga. Really cool collection. I'm trying to get some ideas for my room.
ya I got a few gum road from him just didnt print them out yet
@@VinceVellCUSTOMS Nice! I got the classic Lara Croft from her.
Damn that corner moducase is beautiful
Moducases are nice looking!
Wow absolutely love it
Corner moducase looks great

Nice.
Some gorgeous Power Girls right there
How are we able to inquire about a possible custom job for a figure? Do you do custom jobs on Bishoujo statues?
Never mind.. I found your website. And I’m reading the step by step process now lol
