  • Failure and tolerable stress can be a good thing for a child's mental health in the long run, but are Singaporean parents shielding their kids from failure too much? A/Prof Daniel Fung outlines a few things parents can do to holistically encourage good mental health for their little ones - learn the language of feelings; enable resilience through failure; reduce adverse childhood experiences; encourage purpose-seeking and be a friend.
