Nice list - but if you say you "don't expect" such a performance from Craig, then you've likely not seen much of his work from before Casino Royale - I loved him as Bond, but was worried this huge success would derail his track record of raw indie work (IMO his best is Love is the Devil) - with projects like Queer and Macbeth, it seems he's showing his intent to return to these roots (btw - my own favorite so far from 2024 is The Return, w Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche as Odysseus and Penelope)

Villeneuve is too modest: DUNE was head and shoulders above every other movie released in 2024. I saw it 4 times in the theater.
