@@JenAiMarreDeSaucisse well i'm not that against screaming....but do it to relieve stress and breathing after overcoming difficulty like very fast exchange or really speedy dash. i have some resentment about screaming even when the opponent just make an easy mistake/unforced error though.

That being said, at a level where winning actually matters and you’re trying to reach the peak of the game, I think it’s entirely justified to cheer yourself on every point won that doesn’t involve a net or an edge I guess. I think what matters is how it’s perceived by the opponent, and I wholeheartedly believe that they understand it and don’t mind at all ! But yeah I understand why we naturally don’t like screamers in general. Just that I think confidence on the spot is so important in this game that anything that gives you confidence and doesn’t disrespect the opponent can and should be done : )
