I feel trouble for Google in Indian market due to less amount of marketing strategy and publicity none of those devices were established or popular even though there are huge amount of people waiting to buy pixel 7 and 6 Pro but unfortunately lack of service centres & limited releases Makes us take different decisions!
Nobody cares about the Indian market except the people who comment online. The Indian market is a very simplistic and angry platform of people seeking bargains for tech they mostly don't understand. Most buyers are cheap and would rather have bad quality than to invest in high quality products, they will never ever be satisfied, because they think that it is their right to own cheap products. This applies to most of the Arab world as well or any old mentality cultures.
If google starts focusing on marketing and everyone starts buying the pixel phones it will be a huge loss for Google. Google makes tons of money by just licensing the devices manufactured by realme, xiaomi etc. They are mostly into software business. The phones they are selling are just to showcase the best experience of android which google intended.
From now Google is getting fully into it's own mobile. Currently Pixel has Samsung Chip and Camera. Now most of them will be in-house production and development. Google is now focusing on in house development and will surely go deep into expanding it's own market soon just like Apple has. (Changes are because Samsung is falling). Google will get more hardware for consumers and hopefully build it's service center soon.
I sure hope they fixed the issue of not having mesh network have a bridged mode. Google saying it can only do it when its 1 access point is insane when their competitors don't have the same limitation. I would of loved to use this from Google (vs Amazon's Eero), but I simply can't trust they will fix the Bridge Mode or lack there of with more than 1 access point, which is the entire point of Mesh networking.
I just got this device yesterday. I am a gen 1 owner. The system instantly gave us trash vibes. I had spectrum at my house for hours. This commercial is a lie. I'm about to reach out to Best buys now. The generation 1 is 10 times better. But it doesn't have the space a real smart phone. I thought gen 2 would be better....but no. A complete disappointment.
Some things are not quite clear. With the Google Nest Wifi, I have the route plugged directly into the modem, and the access points scattered around the house creating a mesh. But it appears with this system, you can wired mesh or wireless mesh with multiple routers, correct me if I'm wrong. (This is huge because I'm a fan of wired mesh) What I really fail to understand is why I can't also use those access points to deliver 2.4ghz/5ghz to less used spots in my home and take advantage of the smart speaker capability. Great video though.
Hi there, we're sorry for the delayed response. Nest Wifi Pro uses the 6 GHz band to form its mesh network, while earlier generation products such as Nest Wifi and Google Wifi devices use only the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands for mesh connections. Learn more here: goo.gle/3ye0dql
Let's stop and talk about the huge and very frustrated community of customers who have previously purchased Google's last generation of Wi-Fi mesh products and have for a year now experienced constant regular drop outs caused by defective firmware that Google literally does nothing about and leaves one community assistance person to apologise on the Google Nest Forum. It's pathetic. And yet, ladies and gentlemen, a new product, courtesy of Google.
Would have loved to upgrade to the Nest Wifi Pro and use my old Nest WIfi as additional access points for areas where i don't need Wifi 6e, but unfortunately that's no option and i prefer to prdouce less e-waste than to upgrade and throw away my old devices.
Hey Marvin, we appreciate your feedback about getting a Nest Wifi Pro - we'll take it as a way to improve our products. Stay tuned to our social channels for updates and announcements!
@@poker.4203 He did, but he didn't exactly spell it out. The Nest Pro is not compatible with the current Google mesh routers most of us have, so you can't simply extend your wifi network and put the 6E in a hotspot - you'd have to completely replace all of your routers, which is why he's talking about making a bunch of e-waste.
I have my own apt with game consoles, Google everything but my Apple devices, smart lights and switches. My internet speed is 250 down. Would WiFi 6e make any of this better?
Hey Lee, we're sorry for the delayed response. Nest Wifi Pro device's smart antenna technology, network coverage is stronger and more consistent as it constantly works in the background - it manages activities and network performance to minimize possible issues and keep everything smooth.
Hey Kyle, we're sorry for the delayed response. Nest Wifi Pro (Wi-Fi 6E) can't be combined with Nest Wifi or Google Wifi devices (Wi-Fi 5) in a mesh network. To take advantage of the new Wi-Fi 6E technology, mesh connectivity must run exclusively between Nest Wifi Pro nodes over the 6 GHz band.
So If my router is in another room and I have access point I'm another room and connect directly to Ethernet at access point. Will my speed be greater than wifi connection at same access point ?

Hi there, thanks for the interest. Yes, Nest Wifi Pro systems are fully compatible with all of your existing client devices in your home. Those devices will indirectly benefit from the Wi-Fi 6E technology as well since there’s less congestion on the network.
Hey Hari, we’re sorry for the late reply. Wi-Fi 6E is faster and more responsive for critical applications like multiple simultaneous video calls. While both Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E devices can operate on 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands, Wi-Fi 6E also utilizes the new 6.0 GHz band, which enables ultra fast and responsive Wi-Fi. @@madebygoogle I understand the Mesh connection, I'm talking about ethernet from the main router to another access point(not just wireless. ikr like the 6ghz band makes little less sense when on 1gbps still better than just having just 2.4ghz and 5ghz but some people have fast networks or have a nas so dual 2.5gbps on the router would have been great or 2.5gbps(internet in) and a 5gbps(your home network) 5gbps port to a switch for wired devices and connecting your other mesh points together so you wont have a massive slow down when going to a different mesh point since this is a issue with other mesh solutions that have 6ghz
It has to do with auto switching to 6ghz. If they made it compatible, people would complain that they paid all this money but 6ghz feature doesn’t work because they hooked an older satellite.
