THE LAND, belongs to the people,, and the "government" serves the people. They must get OUR permission to do anything with OUR land.
After the organic act of 1871 which was not only illegal but an act of treason against the United States and its citizens. This got rid of our original constitution and made Washington DC a government independent of the US. It made the US a corporation and all of us too. The British monarchy, the Rothschilds, Rockefellers and the Vatican own Washington DC and control it. It made us a crown colony again and made us all slaves to their evil system. We are no longer under constitutional law in the US, we are under admirality maritime law, which is Roman law. This is what the American flag with the gold fringe represents in all US courtrooms, government offices, police stations and every government building from municipal up to the federal government. Our rights were stolen from us by this evil act and replaced with privileges. This is why everyone has to buy permits and licenses for everything now. Look at your driver's license, birth certificates and social security cards. Notice that your name is in all capital letters. This represents that we are all corporations because we generate revenue for this defacto government which stole all of our freedom and rights. We're all considered government property. The government officials will tell you that with anything involving your children. They will tell you quick that they are the property of the state not the parents. This is why we as parents are required by law to have birth certificates. The number on every birth certificate is actually your stock number on the NYSE. We are all their chattel, aka slaves. Americans unfortunately don't see this. America is not and I repeat is not a democracy. It's a corportocracy, aka an oligarchy controlled by the rich. We don't own anything in our possession, that is why we have to pay taxes on everything. The federal reserve act made us all subservient to this system which was done in secrecy and illegally in 1913 by Woodrow Wilson. We have what they call FIAT money which is money backed by nothing. Richard Nixon abolished the gold standard in 1973. Our so called presidents are just close for this coporation called the US. We are not being governed were being Ruled. The president is the front man for the shadow government which actually owns and controls America. They tell the president what to do. I remember watching John D Rockefeller saying that on tv years ago. They created the UN and put us all under their evil agenda, which is controlled by China and Russia. See how evil all of this actually is. The UN is the vehicle for the NWO and total control of the masses worldwide. Our government is evil. There are 2 reasons they are doing this.
1.) They plan on leasing or giving mining rights to China to mine the land; or
2.) They plan on cultuvating and harvesting drugs on that land.
If it's not land with plenty of water, you can bet the plan os to let China, and maybe other countries, take our natural resources.
In 2016, I saw a video where a researcher uncovered multiple "Proclamations", where Obama's agencies took millions of acres of land from American citizens, declared the land belonged to the government, and could be mined and, "the borders of that land could be expanded, as they deemed necessary."

The more terrifying aspect of this video is how government actually works-literally a handful of people sitting in a room debating policy that will affect thousands of ranchers and potentially millions of Americans food supply. This hearing was probably held on an afternoon in a room with little notice. If Hageman wasn't there to push back, the committee would have made recommendations on land use and just moved on.
Glad you have people like her. In the UK our politicians and civil servants are also trying to dismantle the essential infrastructure that is farming, and any kind of autonomy of private citizens to produce food by strangling them in regulation and allowing land to be stolen by land developers in the name of carbon con. And they couldn't grow a weed to save their fat, doughy skins.

The BLM director is appointed by the administration, this is not an elected position.
The current admin policy doesn't align with the people in a red state. Need the gov to make some laws that protect against this or make BLM state based instead of fed based.

I worked for the Forest Service for about forty years in one capacity or the other. It used to be that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Forest Service (FS) worked to improve natural resource management, community economies, and to serve the people. Not so anymore, now they dictate to the local communities and people and lock up our natural resources. At the end of my career, I was disgusted by the "I know what's good for you" attitude that many FS and BLM employees lorded over the general public. These controlling authoritative attitudes go back to what the students of resource management are being taught by our liberal colleges.
We need a speaker like this in Oregon, too! Very well said!
My many Friends across the West have told me they see Harriet Hageman as a real resource for our entire country. She does well for the people of our country. Our other hires in Government would do well to study her motives ask themselves if they, personally, can measure up. It isn't just a job. She really serves our people. JB's BLM plan is to restrict OHV areas to specifically limit fossil fuel recreational vehicles from using those areas.
The Constitution limits ownership of ;and by the federal government to just those items specified, i.e. Courts, Post Offices, Ports and Customs, and military. So exactly where does the government get the authority to control land via the unauthorized BLM?
Montana could and should exercise its 9th and 10th Amendment authority and evict the Federal agencies from state land.

I could certainly be wrong, but in listening to Rep. Hageman, a bigger picture comes to mind regarding the whole transportation issue. Think about it. No more gas engine cars, which will greatly reduce our automcobility to go wherever we want or need. "15-minute cities," where we won't need all the roads that now exist since our travel will be severely limited/restricted. This whole 'land grab' in Wyoming could very well be about that: confiscating land to change roadways and ability to travel. We have to connect the dots, fit the puzzle pieces together to better understand the meaning and intentions behind all this govt-generated activity. 😈
