Numbers do not lie, and they indicate the Federal Department of Education has consistently failed in all education standards since its inception in 1968. Education in America was never better than what it was under state control. School Choice needs to be advanced in every state to help correct the shortcomings of education for the last 50 years. I've never seen her before, but she ROCKS!!! I went back to college to get a teaching degree in 2019 at 58 years old, got straight A's, and left after 3 semesters. My "schooling for social justice" class was insane. My classmates' writing ability was so poor that I wouldn't have graduated high school with that low level. Our inner city schools are passing kids who never attend just to get a good rating. Unbelievable.

I worked in the inner city and yes, they are only concerned with their rating based on numbers of graduating students and number of referrals. So to get aa good rating and therefore, better funding, they simply pass everybody and if students commit actual criminal acts in school, they hush it all up and move the student along. One student I had NEVER showed up for one class all year. I gave him an F. Later, I found out someone in admin had changed his gad to a B. Why? He was a football player.

We can thank President George W. Bush for the 'No Child Left Behind Act' (NCLB) in 2002. Also, President Barack Obama for The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) in 2015. As well as every Senator who voted for both of these.

It is the educators themselves who are preventing free speech on campuses. I talked to one student whom was given a failing grade because he did not agree with their position on a topic.
To many people cant handle truth and then freak out when its an actuality. I do blame these issues on the idea that everyone gets a trophy .

Look up the history of the department of education. You will see exactly when and what and why things changed, The no child left behind campaign was an utter failure to all American children. I was a student tutor in 7th grade. I taught an 8th grader how to read!!! It was sad. We had to start with kindergarten books. He could not spell either. But he learned and he was proud of himself, probably for the first time in his life.

Hageman won the 2022 Wyoming Primary for U.S. House with approx. 66% vs Cheny's 29%, then went on to win the general election. So Cheny didn't "leave," Wyoming voted her out when she refused to represent the people and her Republican Party. We definitely got a winner in Harriet Hageman

The Department of education is an epic failure
I will say this. I went to school years ago. And even then, they're were teachers that I could pinpoint that were not just liberals, but who were teaching their values to kids. NO teacher should be teaching that. This wasn't political science classes either. The best teachers I had were those that stuck to the actual subject on hand. I send my daughter to private school and her rankings are far beyond kids her age at public schools. She is taught to think for herself as well.
The teachers you describe are not liberals. They are leftists. There's a reason why the dispassionate study of the arts, language, culture are called the Liberal Arts. Liberalism is free speech and free inquiry. Liberalism is the absence of fear in the face of any proposition, because all present understand it may be challenged without censure. Leftism is none of that.
I had a sociology professor (required gen-ed, would never have chosen it voluntarily) who asked his class for personal experiences where our sex, skin color, or other immutable characteristics led to expectations with which we were not comfortable. He denied that my answer, as a white, sexually normal male, was "valid." After that encounter, I selected my remaining gen-eds, and the lecturers teaching them, very carefully.

I watch this guy on RUclips who goes around to college campuses and asks students very simple questions and they don't know the answer. What does that tell you? People go in debt for their kids to come out dumb and radicalized. One of the questions was Where is the queen of England from. The student with a questionable voice said Portuga???? People need to learn the old ways and prepare.
I saw this cancer at the University of Hawaii in 1959. I was appalled at what was said about why our Nation should change to communism!

The tax $ stolen from my paychecks towards “education” are paying for indoctrination camps. It’s dystopian and horrifying! I know what is going on, I’m a parent of a freshman and a senior at state university where we live. One of the largest in our country. I know what my youngest was learning about in middle and high school and yet a lot of people have said I’m lying about what the kids are being taught!!!!!! I’ve got a neice in St Louis who is in 10th grade. CRT and sexualization are absolutely warped and engrained into many classes! Look at each individual teachers class. We still have some teachers that are not indoctrinating our kids and dividing them- however there are quite a few teachers whom are. Look at your kids critical race theory assignments. I saw what my neice was being taught by her American history teacher in 6th grade. Whoa!!!!!! I told people I work with about it, and one woman went off on me-saying that’s a conspiracy theory outright lie, CRT is only taught at the college level. I asked if she had kids, nieces, nephews- anyone close to her in school. She stared at me. I said well, I actually do and here is a photo of my niece’s CRT worksheet. Sexualization is another and main “educational components” worked into most classes now in different ways-depending on the teacher. It’s unreal and scary.
These constitutionalists are not playing. I hope they get to the bottom of everything.
