That dime a dozen attitude is a very strange take for a reactor. The restricted vocals may be used by many but the Bond'esque sound is very uncommon it took me a very long time to find Kovacs who has become one of my favorites
she cut the song in 2015, did several of these orchestra performances, in fact I believe there is a Russian orchestra version that was before the album release... As for the audience placement, it would work for strings & wood sections, but brass & percussion would be a horrible wash. They use sound shields themselves for a reason, and they aren't just trying to hear the music as a whole but hear themselves. Could you imagine having a tuba, tempani in the rows behind you while you were with the clarinet? You wouldn't hear half the vocals, a mash of strings that would sound like just the highs, and be nearly deaf from the combined bass of tempani & tuba. I would much prefer this show to be performed in a proper acoustic shell w/me in the center audience and the orchestra on stage backing the vocal soloist. However I am sure it was a high selling ticket show.
Thank yo, love Kovacs. 🌻🇦🇺
"I'm super diggin' it..." Well guess what: she actually recorded a song called Diggin! You should check it out as well!
