    - DISTRICT 9 and MIROH have the same glitches and vibes because the director is the same. It feels like they wanted to make it "family-like" as their anniversary.
    - HAKA is in the choreography because Chris was way too influenced by its roots. Also it is a clever way to "come off" to their "rivals" since the dance itself IS to provoke and scare the enemy during war. It is an anthem for them. MIROH is the beginning of the new concept that's going to be inside the maze/jungle.
    - Changbin and Han CAN NOT BREATH.clearly.

      What are the rules of a standard bridge?

    • @betta4454
      @betta4454 5 лет назад +68

      @@pizza4lifeu198 you'd have heard it in many songs the bridge usually comes in the end and then they sing the chorus once more. But here if, you're considering Hyunjin's rap as bridge, after him han gets in his verse first then the chorus and that chant happens. Or maybe Han's verse was supposed to be the bridge preparing for the beat or it had no particular bridge idk

    • @SKZDanceTutorials
      @SKZDanceTutorials 5 лет назад +31

      I thought it was more of either a pre-chorus or a verse~ I believe bridges are supposed to be "new material" and since the Hyunjin/Changbin duet mirrors the Hyunjin/Han duet I don't think it'd be a bridge since it's done twice(?), albeit with different choreography with rap rhythms

    • @GabriellaMendoza
      @GabriellaMendoza 5 лет назад +13

      The bridge doesn’t necessarily have to be at the end of the song before the final chorus. What makes a bridge is that it sounds different to the rest of the song. Like PD said, the chant portion after the first chorus & before the HyunHan rap verse is more like the bridge as the overall sound is different to the rest of the song. The two rap verses sound the same, even if the arrangement of voices is different, so they’re both just verses.

    After watching the dance practice, the haka actions are almost present all throught the choreo. From the beginning ground stance where Felix walks around chanting the lyrics are relevant to how a haka starts. Then the feet stamping (takahi) and arms are across the face (Kia rite,Are you ready)To Chan jumping out where his hands are shaking(wiri) and his fierce facial expressions. The thigh ,chest and arm slaps to the ending stance yelling HOOO to finish off.😁😁😁😁

    Thank you for (finally) uploading this video on You Tube. I love your reactions I really wantad to see your reaction for Miroh. One thing I found very interestung ja that the chant that's laid over the Haka (woah oh oh woah...) is actually from the Congo. So they took two very diferent cultures and conbined them... I think that is pretty amazing

    I showed my dad the dance practice yesterday then without any context he showed me a video of people doing the haka dance. He was surprised I knew what it was. I only knew because of PD.

    Gotta say: I love your videos and analysis so much; you point out so many things I don’t notice at first but always end up just nodding and fully agreeing with you.
    Can’t wait to see the listening party for this album, it’s gonna be so interesting!
    Also fully agree, we need a high quality performance video of this asap.

    I don't know if you have seen the dance practice but the percussive-ness of the dance really added a lot in my opinion to the performance itself. thanks for uploading this!

    Thanks for the great analysis! I don't have video production training but it really seemed like this was higher production quality (special effects, greenscreens, etc) compared to their usual MV's and it's super cool to see :)
    Also yep the form of the song was really interesting! Umu from ReacttotheK also had a breakdown of the song form on her reaction. For me, I saw the "woah" part as the hook (since it's actually in song before the 1st rap duet part too), the Hyunjin/Changbin and Hyunjin/Han (Jisung) rap duets as the pre-chorus (but it could be the verse too??), and the first part of the chorus as a dance break~
    Super cool to see different channels highlighting different aspects of the comeback.

    I kinda have to disagree with jisung, he’s always been as good of a rapper and as fast a rapper as Changbin but it’s usually showed on their b sides

    • @adir6094
      @adir6094 5 лет назад +22

      True, especially in their 3RACHA songs, Like in P.A.C.E., he does that out-of-breath thing before he says the "CB97.." verse...I'd think Jisung is know for his smooth and fast pace, and Changbin is known for his hard voice and flow. Actually, i think both have their own unique flow that they ACE every time. It's amazeballs.

    reason why i've been interested with skz's music is because it lets you go out of your comfort zone. it's like when you thought you know what's gonna happen and then sike it went on a diff pace.

    Yeah, while listening to this a was like "OMG YAS STRAY KIDS HYPE SONGS FTW!!" And then it went to the cool down after the chorus and Chan started singing and I was like "Song structure who? I don't know her." And in Hyunjin's rap I felt I was listening to the bridge and I thought "Where's the second verse? What did you do Chan?" And then it ended, and I was disappointed... I wanted more. This was so good and it felt it was unfinished, the song structure doesn't let you know at what point you are, it keeps you flying high, really high and then it stops and you need more XD
    This is a bop, a 'notsoshort' bop which needs a really big performance at MAMA so we can all die at peace ^~^.

    I have been waiting for this! Oh. My. Goodness. I could go on for days about Stray Kids and Miroh. I really like listening to mashups (some of them are really good) and I have been saying for a while that it would be interesting if someone came out with a song that just sound like a mashup on its own, but I kind of reached the mindset that no one was going to do it because it's too weird. LEAVE IT TO STRAY KIDS TO READ MY MIND AND DO THE EXACT WEIRD THING I WAS THINKING IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE!!! I had a very similar reaction/opinion to Miroh. I was shocked at first (where is the chorus? Is it the whole song? Are there even verses? A bridge? How can there be so many repeated lines but it's still not boring lyrically? etc.) and now I love it! I do like My Pace and I am You better overall, but Miroh is AMAZING and Stray Kids are making history and already becoming LEGENDS in my book! (Plus, I've always said that BangChan is going to be the next CEO of JYP :) )
