I think it’s because of her new album coming up, she’s going to give it her all in it! Just like when she released Emancipation of Mimi, she sounded incredible but played it safe vocally and then Emancipation of Mimi ended up being one of her best albums vocally ever. From Circles to Fly like a Bird, she had so many vocally challenging songs in Emancipation of Mimi.
She’s improved a lot! The annoying squeaky tone seems to have mostly gone, hopefully she eases on the lipping 🙏🏻 when she’s confident she’s still really good ❤️
Her supported low range is much smaller than that. She can consistently sing to an Eb3 but that's it. Even in rainbow, the lowest note she sung supported was a D3 (crybaby, and vision of love Chicago 2000).
I agree! Seems like an approah she picked up to sing through the worsening of her nodules. It's a different condition from Leona's Autoimmune disease however both started using different approaches to deal with their conditions that are not the best for optimal singing but seems to lessen the pain while singing (at times they look like it hurts to sing).
I wish I could’ve seen her in Chicago, for what I’ve seen that was her best concert so far, she was very relaxed and confident and hence her voice sounded better, it kinda reminded me of Jamaica 2015 when she was high hahaha

The voice is sounding so clean!! She just needs to take some risks 🥺 during the first couple of shows she was looking really depressed. Maybe she's overly medicated idk. She just seems low energy in general. Ofc we've seen her much worse than this
