- new die-grinder, saburrtooth burr try out
hi wood psyche here,
Testing out the milwaukee 2485-20 cordless right
angle die grinder on Ponderosa Pine with new xtra coarse saburrtooth 1/4” burrs.
I’m liking the power of the tool combination with saburrtooth burrs. Works well with pine species of wood. There is hardly any lag in r.p.m. with
aggressive use. A big plus with this brushless
motor technology. In fact, the sound of the
motor is similar to model RC electric motors
which I’m sure are comparable in a lot of respects.
I will follow up this project with a final video
and decided this will be skull with a King’s crown.
Should be epic I hope…
thanks,
wood-psyche

Very cool, can hardly wait to see the rest
Thank you, finally getting time to carve, shouldn’t be too long to finish this piece!🌝
That's looks a handy tool, those knots 👌stay warm
Those are some monster knots for some new projects, the tool rocks so far! Thanks for your support!🌝
Hey Paul, good to see you got some time to carve. I havent had much time lately either.
Yeah I’m still doing farm stuff but trying to
manage my time. Thanks again for the gear you sent, will be doing some vids on things you sent hopefully soon.🌝 Thanks Mike!
You should do a skull head with chain like a maze
That would be wicked? thanks Casey! Maybe shoot over some drawings🌝!
It looks like it would be handy for a lot of different projects thanks for the video be safe
You bet, I can see putting sanders on it. Thanks Mark!🌝
Very cool new tool , I know you’ll create much magic with it! 🎨🪄
Thanks for sharing brother, keep warm and stay safe out there.
🏡 ❄️ 🧰
Yes, I’m getting excited about it. Was in a slump, now I’m kinda fired up. Thanks for the support!🌝
@@wood-psyche ~ You betcha brother , Us carvers are family 🪵 🖤 You’ll always have me and my channel’s support ✊🏽🔥
Thanks, just subbed your channel. Didn’t realize you had one. I’ll be checking out your vids!🌝
@@wood-psyche ~ Thanks brother!! 😀
I’m just a tiny channel but Art gives me purpose and is my therapy with chronic pain. This RUclips world gives me someone to talk to and share what craziness I’ve been up to.. 🙏🏽🎨 🏡
Paul I was going to email you to see how you're doing and you post a video, Guess I know now. Hope all is good with you. That die grinder rocks can't wait to see what comes about with it. Stay warm my friend and I'll see you on the next one.
Massive thanks Mike, kinda been in a slump,
still working doing some farm work which has been taking more time away from my real
passion of carving. That’s all changing by months end as I’m taking off from farming
until fall perhaps, plus in Spring I’m wrapping up work on my property i.e., finishing the abode of sorts and tree cutting. Yeah the grinder rocks, better than expected. Thanks
always Mike!🌝
@@wood-psyche Thats awesome , hope you do a few videos of the place. I know what you mean about getting in a slump I think my mind wanders to much on what i want to carve and then i end up not doing anything. Plus still taking care of my wife so not a whole lot of time either.
Your going to have plenty of fun I hope you enjoy them iam looking forward to seeing what your going to make right now that face looks like a hedgehog
Yeah, you’re right. I decided to go in a different direction with this one, vid will
be out soon!🌝Thank you Aiden!
@@wood-psyche it looks great I hope you enjoy your new carving burrs
How do you like this die grinder with the what l call... 45 degree to hand angle?. I thought it might be awkward but in your video it looked to be a pretty comfortable tool. Unfortunately I had already purchased the straight in line style but this today has peaked my interest.
Be well and as always Thanks for sharing.
I like it so far, just have to get used to the angle. It was something I’ve been wanting to experiment with. I like the
responsive variable trigger on this, something a little different compared to a dremel. Honestly, the ergonomic
aspect is not the best but using a glove helps. Maybe a 3D printed sleeve contoured more to human hands would be nice. Thanks
always for your support Linda🌝!
Good to know. Thanks for the feedback back. Be well
