The man, the myth, the legend. I'm going to be watching my Dorkin 4 video on VHS later on today. Bought in July 1990. Still being played 30 years later. Quality riding never gets old.
    Plywood Hoods forever baby.
    Respect.

The 40-second link starting at 3:00 is beautiful. Very flowing, tight, polished. There's a lot going on in that link.

Holy CRAP this is still amazing, even 13 years later. I've been to flatland contests in the past year where none of the pros were this impressive, and there has been over a decade of "progression".
On another note....someone knew the song from Hole, but had to ask what the Van Halen song was?!?!? What the hell.

Chase is one of the greats, he started riding with Kevin Jones early enough in his riding career, and you could see that influence take him to another level.

not because im from the 80's and 90's and watched kevin jones and chase progress etc.but flatland back then seemed more impressive than today. i say this because today it's all about spinning, spinning, spinning, spinning, i mean dam how much can you spin. as for breakless, give the all time flatland king KEVIN JONES the credit for being the first one to do rolling tricks and go breakless. back then skuffing, switching, hoping over your bars, jumping from pegs to handle bars (perry doom) all at the time seemed so hard which it still is yet it's still more impressive to look at. looking at a guy spinning for ages. i rather him use the entire bike not just the pegs. that's just me though.

the mid 90s was differently the best point in flatland, with a good balance of whip-n-scuff and spinning! but with a fluid style using the whole bike, (CHASE/CHAD/OSICKA/THE-FUGITIVES) all made it so much more interesting, each bringing there own take on "THE KING JONES" creation...:)

bigben1986 I’m from this school and don’t get me wrong Matthias, Prevost and the like are kick ass flatlanders and I just came from watching a 2018 contest and that peg to peg decade he does at 3:36 is still cooler than any of the endless spinning in circles tricks.

Van Halen - "Ain't Talkin Bout Love" - and Mark Eaton mixed 'em together as best he could...poor guy...really, it was the DJ equivalent of Evel Knievel's jump over the Snake River Canyon. Doomed, but a valiant effort.

Amazing rider. I enjoyed watching him ride with brakes more. I think he looked smoother. He was just amazing with or without though. A notch or two above the other pros at the time. Still mesmerising to watch now.

One of the top five flatlanders, ever. He should be in everyone's top ten list for flat. Brake less decades in 95, far beyond his time. Chase pulled off more impressive moves in this vid than the majority of new school flatlanders do.
