I flew to China with my seven y.o. many years ago. 12 hour flight. Right behind a young mom with screaming, teething infant. I wasn't sleeping anyway, so took the baby for a few hours so mom could sleep a little. Everyone was so patient, thank goodness.

Amen, I love it too! Btw, the demise of the airlines was started by Ronnie Reagan who busted the air traffic controllers union, and then trump furthered the problem by making it okay for people to be rude a-holes.

One that I wished you ended with was the guy on a plane calmly explaining that there was a screaming kid coming on the plane. Before the kid gets to him, someone screamed in the kid’s face to make him shut up. It’s freaking hilarious! 😂😂 It’s one of my all-time favorite videos on RUclips.
And this is why I’m not flying until my kid is older 😂😂😂😂

Noise cancelling headphones and an ipod are essential for travel. You don't have to get $500 headphones. You can go to a home improvement store and get a set made for use with construction equipment for around $30 (although they probably won't have a headphone jack to plug into a music player).

On the first story: when I was a Catholic and had the misfortune of having to get on a plane, I would spend most of the time praying that the plane didn't crash. Had I had someone trying to sing gospel I would have been very upset by her interruption of my own conversation with god. LOL

The only thing funnier was my sister insisted we go to "A taste of Findley market" A tiny food festival in Cincinnati, It turns out Billy ray cyrus (AKA Miley's dad) had been contracted the year before (for probably $100) before "Achy Breaky Heart" hit, and He no showed, just to say ALWAYS Get an escape clause penalty that you are willing to pay.

My dad threw a hissy fit when our Hawaiian flight got delayed or cancelled or something ( I was 8 so I don't remember, but I remember his fit...) and we got put up for an extra 3 nights on them! I have to imagine this would never happen these days.

Didn’t they just pass a law about delays, etc beyond an established timeframe, that the airlines were required to compensate in a lot of ways? I’m thinking it’s called “Passenger’s Bill of Rights” 🧐🤔… but if this is recent, then I’m confused about 18 hours and $12 voucher. I remember that this situation might have caused airlines responsible for hotel, food, transportation; a LOT!
Normally I don't like to hear people screaming on an airplane but I side with this blue shirt guy!

In 1980 I was coming home from Europe and the plane tilts from the nose back, the people in front of me had bought a puppy and the water from the puppy carrier was spreading back either a bowl overflow or puppy piss, and I vowed never to complain about a crying child again
The solution to kids hitting your seat- have the attendant switch you or move them to the back of the plane or something.

The second story with the guy. I f&$@ing hate flying . It has gotten worse post pandemic. My brothers and I went to Paris from Knoxville Tennessee on Delta. You know how much airfare is. Well, our flight to Atlanta was delayed because we didn’t have a f@&$ing pilot! How do you sell tickets and don’t even provide a pilot. One volunteered after several hours and we are suppose to be grateful? Oh how sweet of him to volunteer since I bought this f$&@ing ticket and I’m at your mercy. Then I had a Karen behind me from Atlanta to CDG and a man in my lap on the way back because he reclined his seat and never let it up . I am sitting my ass home this year. They pack you in like sardines making all that money but won’t pay their flight attendants a living wage. No wonder they are so f$&@ing mean. They need to form unions . F$&@ Delta!

Listen. I know kids are annoying. But a crying baby isn't something you can just fix all the time. A baby has ear popping and pain and they're too small to just shush or put on the iPad. Sorry about it. Also you have to remember that not all kids are neurotypical and don't understand what's happening and maybe they're frightened or just need to stim. I'm terrified to travel with my toddler because of the chance that some asshole says something to my kid and I'll have to do something and get my ass kicked off the plane probably💁🏻♀️😂 mess with my kids Karen🤨
