    I went to Manchester to watch Mike Tyson destroy Francis and took my mother along who was also a big Mike Tyson fan. The crowd went mental with excitement roaring Mike on, it was an experience I will never forget.
    The brutal honesty in this video is breathtaking, Mike is a totally unique boxer in that he never glorifies himself like most boxers do, he tells it like it is!

      because I very like and absolutely respect Mike for human instincts,modesty,assertiveness.Mike was vever arrogant/proud.media really dislike him and used each occasion to provoke him and ridicule him.fights organizators/promotors also made fake,false smileys.

      Mike lived with Camille & Cus D'Amato from the time he was 12 or 13 years old. When Cus & Jimmy Jacobs passed away & Robin Givens humiliated him on national television accusing him of battery & mental illness, & Don King got his hooks in him putting back all the hate & racism & insecurity, & he was falsely accused of rape serving 3 of a 6 year sentence...I think he devolved or at least let the thug come out of the dungeons of his mind...Because Mike speaks honestly...He is not contrived...He wears his heart on his sleeve...I don't think he knows any other way to be. I love boxing & boxing history. Did you watch the whole video? Have you seen a lot of his other interviews, past & present? I'm asking honestly, not being a smart ass

    • @mgt4673
      @mgt4673 8 лет назад +1

      Liza Pierce Hi, not sure if youre talking to me. Ive watched quite a few Mike Tyson documentires yes. He certainly does wear his heart on his sleeve. I too love the history of boxing, have huge respect for a lot of these boxers who have come from absolute poverty and literally fought their way out of it. Lets face it, its hard for anyone to make something of themselves let alone if youre living in total poverty. The Cus, Rooney and Atlas days of Tyson were just incredible. After Prison... he died off as a boxer but took time to grow in other ways.

    I have watched interviews when Tyson was in his 20s and when he was young, and he seemed like he was a good person. When he was 27 he got interviewed i prison by Larry King and seemed to have a good philosophy, like he did in these interviews; did he just get sick of being treated like shit and get mad all the time? I'm not him, but disagree with what he said about be immature before. he may have been about some things, but he seemed nice and smart a long time ago..

  • @GreGmcGuinness_
    @GreGmcGuinness_ 11 лет назад +2

    These guys seem to think Tyson entered the game of boxing already possessed with an innate reputation as a destroyer, when in fact this reputation had to be built through his skills in the ring, and of course Cayton's Media contacts. Tyson fought alot of tough opponents, many of whom were olympic gold medalists with undefeated records in the pro's, but they don't get the credit they deserve simply because of their unexciting styles and relative modernity when compared to the greats of the past.

    He was a disciplined fighting machine happy to be in their gradually wearing them down, but with the limited fighters he faced early in his career he obviously wanted to make a statement and get rid of them quickly.

The longer the fight would go ...if.u got past the 3rd round mike knew it wasnt his night and lost all composure ..sad ..but. Lots of life lessons ..i watch videos of mike everyday..hes the biggest superstar in the world stil..and he is now in control of himself ..life is a beautiful thing when u dont waste it and u are constantly learning...love ya mike

  • @WelshDegenerate
    @WelshDegenerate 11 лет назад +3

    Exactly, and that's nonsense anyway. I mean, absolutely many guys were terrified but this myth that Tyson was a bully... for one it's laughable because of the fact Tyson was a midget in the Heavyweights, he was a small guy; secondly he beat Razor Ruddock TWICE, and that guy was not afraid at all. Tyson beat many great fighters, he just made most LOOK terrible; Tyson's best asset was his defense, that's why when he stopped moving his head he started losing.

    I wish he stayed with kevin... And the original Tyson Team...man it would have been amazing..he would have retired..80+ wins...and maybe maybe maybe 1 loss..cause everybody has at least 1 bad night....but he might have went 100 wins and no losses ...but they knew they had to break up the tyson team and don king had to runin mike .and they had it planned . they knew if he went to jail when he came out he would be even bigger ..everyone loves a come back or they love the fall of greatness...they wanted mike to lose his mind ...but now mike is the champ of his family and his life ..im so happy for him
