You're the Bob Ross of opr I swear lol. I love your content man. I love the way you run through everything so thoroughly and then show play. It's badass
This army is underwhelming in the big game, but is pretty good in Firefight, where 6 tough units are hard to come by, and that Simian Champion is a beast to take down.
The lights going out was just all part of the plan for the guerrillas! Thanks! I've been looking forward to this one ever since you started the army reviews
If you want to build a soul snatcher cult army check out Print Minis on my mini factory. They have an army called the code splicers which fit perfectly into SSC or even genestealer cults for 40k. Only issue is they have their minis spread out through multiple releases but hey you'll end up with some other stls to use in the future.
Same spell list as the HDF. I never noticed before but Rebels seem like bizarro world HDF. Did I just see a squad of Battle Brothers get wiped by a squad of not-legally-ewoks? lol
I'd say this is a good way to show people how the game is model agnostic. You don't need to have it so that "Unit A is represented by Model from Product B" - so long as you and your opponent agree "B is A", you're golden.
@@WarbossFitz I think the OPR Rebel Guerrillas are meant to be a stand-in for Mantic Games Rebs (Much like ratmen are inspired by their Veer-Myn), but I don't know if the compant still makes minis for them anymore. They still exist in their skirmish game, though. Whatever, OPR has always been miniature-agnostic so any option is good, really.
@@WarbossFitz My choice of models: AnvilIndustry C-Spec soldiers, alien chimpanzee heads from the Space Pirates pack with meshbashed Cspec helmets, also by Anvil, vehicles from Treadhead Rad, and for Simians and Chelonians, Wargames Atlantic Silverbacks from their scifi line. They're a silly pun on how often people on the OPR discord/FB group call the army "Rebel Gorillas"
@WarbossFitz if you are sticking to GW like you said: any number of Necromunda gangs, guard patrols, even Tau footsloggers because Rebs (which the army list is based on) are basically Tau Auxiliary (Gue'vesa etc). It just seems weird to use models that do have an exact 1 for 1 in OPR...that's all.

The episode I've been waiting for

Also the way tunnel works in firefight allows it to be used with the champion.

Simply lovely. Revenge for the fallen on that forest planet.

Terrorist teddy bears!!!!!!!!!!!!! vs storm tro..... I mean space marines!!!!!!!!!
Love the BRs! What do you do to get the lighting so good (obvious before the power outage 😄)?
The lighting is 3 led shop lights above the game table. Each 3 foot long
love seeing some ewoks!
Weird choice of model examples since soul snatcher cults exist...
What models would better represent the choices in the army book?
