Good to see PV3 able to break into his brothers rental properties and feel so comfortable with making videos while there. Can’t wait to see him do one in his exes new apartment.
Is that not Dalton’s parents’ house he’s been recording in? We haven’t heard about Chadwick in a while, I wonder if PV3 has severed ties.
Seeing PV3 so happy drinking something on this channel fills me with so much joy!
And PV3 deserves to be happy
The sweet relief of a decent beverage
You know when PVIII is wearing an argyle sweater in August, gona be good show...
It's about time PV3 had something good to wash that Malort taste out of his mouth.
I got to visit the Talisker distillery. What a spot! The water running to the distillery was yellow with peat. It really tastes of the ocean.
"Keep the mane thing the mane thing." Said every merlion everywhere.
so great. sorry to see you didn't have a Glencairn glass, but i know $10 can be a bit much. Best of luck to ya laddie!
I literally just got my father a bottle of this for his birthday a few weeks ago! Didn't expect to see it reviewed here! Keep up the good work PV3!
Not gonna lie... Was kinda hoping for a 7 min lead up to a Zima reveal. Happy for you PV3!
One of my favorite bottles of scotch. Dead serious.
This stuff is like drinking an old boot. In a good way.
Re: Ice/Water in Scotch - Do what you want, but yes, a few drops of water is all you need if your goal is to "open it up"
it depends on the scotch, but the purpose of the water is to reach a specific ABV so the alcohol is less overpowering and more of the natural flavors of the drink come forward.
For example, a cask strength scotch will get NOTHING from a "few drops of water", and what you need is to increase the water content by up to half an ounce to bring a shot from 58-59% down to a more normal 42% abv, or even 35%, especially when you're tasting it for flavor profiles like PV3 is doing.
@@Null_Experis a few drops of water is all you need in a peat-forward whisky to separate out some of the oily compounds which make up that peaty flavour. Aiming for a specific ABV is fine, but no needed for most situations.
Again though, do what you like.
I found this channel since the start of the pandemic in 2020 and honestly, I can't believe this guy still kept going with the videos. With the amount of liquor and drinks he already tested and tasted he should've already developed the tasting palate to become a professional liquor taster without the sommelier certificate.
I use ice in my scotch. It doesn't water the scotch down in the 15 seconds it takes me to drink it.
I love Talisker, but I think my favorite is still Lagavulin. That one's so peaty, it tastes like straight up seaweed 🤤
Lagavulin is solid; their Guinness barrel is fantastic. Port Charlotte by Bruichladdich is highly recommended.
Ever had Macallan?
@@M64soundsI have. The 12 is very good, the 18 even better. I don't believe the 25 is worth the price. Diminished returns
I come from the cult of Ardbeg to invite you to join us. May the peat be with you.
I usually dislike peaty scotch, but your review makes me want to try this.
I love seeing you cover stuff you enjoy
I like peaty scotch but it doesn't like me. It kills something important in my digestive tract. I can drink other whiskeys, bourbon and rye but peaty scotches make me ill.
I think PVIII just watched "Irvine Welsh's: Ecstasy" recently; it's MAGIC.
Would love to see you review a peated Irish whiskey like Silkie black
Yesss!!! I've been hoping you'd review this. I've mentioned it in the past before. It's definitely worth every penny
How does it compare to Port Charlotte 10? Love the peatiness!
I was sincerely hoping there was a bottle of Malort inside the box. Haha.
Better than podcast
Enjoyed seeing you drink something good!
Try Port Charlotte 10. Very peaty. Love it!
my mans pvIII knows his whisky tasting! the water and the neat and yeah!
I visited there distillery when I went on vacation to Scotland this last February! Beautiful place and got to see how they make this tasty whiskey. Definitely recommend it if you ever visit the Isle of Skye!
Any day you get to drink Talisker is a good day.
You Rock bud. Very entertaining
Another great video. Keep it up
Talisker is one of my favorites. I know some like a twist of lemon with a neat glass. I'd rather just have a glass of ice water along side of it. Also, I'm a Laphroaig guy.
My favorite scotch whiskey at least for non peaty ones is Kavalan. Would recommend heavily. For peaty/islay scotch, I like Laphroiag/Ardberg.
Ahhhh 🥃 cheers 😎💖
Lol I haven't had this yet but would definitely not mind adding water when/if I do. I never comment on videos but I've followed you since the beginning and it's great to see you posting. This was a really great video. Looking forward to seeing more.
I just got laid off however when I'm back on my feet I'll send you something
Love Talisker.
Absolute Pepper Bomb.
New Review new request for a French 75 Malort Mixology. Replace that Gin with Malort.
What no more PV3 lore?
We had this year's ago at a Country Club I worked at. If I remember correctly they have a whole line. So Talkser, Oban. Dalwhiney and Craggmore. Kinda like how Jim Beam did Knob Creek, Basil Hayden, Bakers and Bookers. It was 2001 and the whole cigar/ scotch whiskey trend hit.
It's alright if you want something really peaty; not worth the price it demands in the US generally, but good if you ignore the price tag.
Would a scotch also use a whiskey flute? Im not educated I just watch this dude.
Missed opportunity to call a mer-lioness a li-maid.
You still gotta try the bum wine called Wild Irish Rose lmao, the red is the best flavor
Talisker is good, but from a "burns the hair" perspective on Scotch, have you ever heard of Islay?
Review Lagavulin or Ardbeg. Makes Talisker seem tame.
I always thought isle of skye whiskey was considered islay.
You've shaved and cleaned up. Things are looking better!
You've experienced some of Scotland's best... Now you need to balance the universe with Buckfast
Please do a smirnoff ice review!
I’ve had a problem with Murlions in the past, putting out saucers of Raspberry White Claw will keep them away.
You should be an actor for a comedy movie, you would be great.
Did he really just say he “Binged” a thing as in used Bing? 😂
Well I’ll be a son of a…
Talisker is some good stuff......hey listen you think you could do a malort long island iced tea?
HEY PV3!.. NEW TO THE CHANNEL AND LOVE IT… DO A REVIEW ON THE RED CISCO!!!!🙏🏽
I always used a single ice cube. Thoughts?
PV3 getting the good stuff!
Ewan McGregor impression on point
You need some Glencairn glasses for scotch. I’ll send you some.
Why not a quaich?
This man has a podcast, let the sink in. I DONT HAVE TOOM FOR ANOTHER PODCASt /s
What about time?
@@DavidMGiles When the Loin is hungery, HE EATS
Fookin magik innit?!
I literally love how much your fans love your unemployed self that they send you one of the CHEAPEST "top shelf" IMO scotches (pshh fwuck 12 yeeere
I'm glad to see life is getting better for you PV3, or at least the alcoholic pleasures that it holds. Can't wait to see some bourbon reviews. Pappy? Evan Williams BIB?
That scotch and argyle sweater should put some hairs on PV’s chest.
I had this one and it was good but for the price I’d pick something else.
What peated scotches do you prefer? Talisker is my #1 but my selection is relatively limited
@@Kerithanos Lagavulin 11 is my favorite but Laphroaig 10 is my go-to
Indeed, this is a treat if you're in the mood for consuming a dusty tome via beverage. Not cheap, though.
if you can stump up the cash for its recent eye-watering price increase, talisker Port Ruighe is the bomb
How do you give bing coins??
You know it's a good time when you're 6 and a half minutes in... and there is no visible liquid in the spittoon.
Dalmore 12
Almost thought this was a funny channel until I saw that you spit out every drink, including good scotch.
Peated whisky, its like bourbon, but for real whisky lovers.
Now wait just a G** D*** minute here...
It's Scotch, so the "beautiful caramel color" is E150 food coloring.
Not always! But yes, Talisker is loaded with caramel colorant
I like *slash* need more pv3
I think the merlions have been beaten beyond death.
Hi all! I'm the "Joseph" that he was referring to. And I'm mad. We visited the Talisker distillery. It was awful.
I'm genuinely upset that he likes this. Now I fear I must send him my favorite Scotch, and, if it doesn't come out on top, I am forced to be his new nemesis, as Abby has taken a back seat in recent videos.
If Bird Dog hadn't discontinued Salted Caramel Whiskey, I would send him that as punishment, but, alas.
Time to water it down...with some malort.
What the hell is a Bing coin?
Wait, I want to send something! Come back! What’s the PO Box?!
hedge of hair around your nipples... I will never get that image out of my brain! CURSE YOU PV3!!!!!!
If a MerLion and a Sea Lion were able to have a child, would that child be called a MerSeaLion? Also, there are other search engines besides Bing, my guy. Just saying.
Good for you, man. You deserve something nice after tasting all that other BS for our entertainment.🎉🎉🎉
Ursula is a squid she has six tentacles not eight, please correct this horrible error.
Thank you.
Love your videos. Enjoy your style.

You made “Merlions” funny… eventually
Oh come on, use the nosing glass..
i thought that stuff was supposed to grow hair on your chest. oh well, ya live and learn.
No malort, pass
BRA-VO. Really like that you sometimes get a good experience, you deserve it!.
I've been trying to send you a gift for months, but you never respond. RUclips, email, and discord.
