Can you recommend any nice accommodation for a couple of nights on the Island? And which side do you think is better as a base for exploring Bribie? The surf side or Pumice Stone passage side.
We stayed at the Big4 Sandstone Point Caravan Park and also at a lovely AirBnB on Bribie Island. The AirBnB was within walking distance of Bongaree which was nice to walk to cafes and restaurants. We also liked Woorim on the surf side as they had nice cafes and restaurants too.
Hi, am familiar with Bribie, I'm an Aussie living in London, my dad lived at Bribie, and I would visit often, he lived in Jabaru Street, now in my senior years would love to spend January to March here, would prefer to rent a room in a house, any ideas would be appreciated. Lucia
Hi Lucia, Bribie Island would be lovely from January to March. I don't know the rental situation on Bribie Island; it is best to contact some local real estate agents to find a room.
