In the treaty 6 Cree territory here in Canada which is the largest confederacy in Canada, the women are proud to sing, and drum to the heartbeat of mother earth. It has been this way for generations. In our traditional way, the women are considered life givers and should be treated with deep respect. This has been taught in traditional ceremonies for young and old men and women. Where the heck are you from? @jimwhatever.

Being Athabascan I like singing with the hand drum. That one on the floor kind of seems hard cause you can't dance while you sing.
