I have heard hauntings start when construction is done in a house, as if the ghosts don't like the changes. Maybe your Dad doing all that work on the house unintentionally stirred up the ghosts...
as I got older and started learning more, I believe the same thing, that house got tore down about 5 or 6 years ago now, but I'll always have the memories
I just found u and subbed. I live in Texas but my mom's family is in Floyd county KY in Spewing Camp and McDowell. I have been a sensitive all my life and it's something passed down on my mom's side. I have have sat on the porch and listened to the old folks tell stories about things that they had seen or had encountered. I am very glad I did because all of those old folks have gone home now.
