I beg to differ. My wife uses this car as a daily and it is very livable. If you concerned about parking lots than yes this car is not for you. Go buy a coffee getter. As for the suspension it is designed for payload so if you put just a bit of weight in the tab you will find it very smooth. yes as for the entertainment unit is crap. Pretty easy to upgrade though. fuel gauge is an afterthought. Great value ute 👍🏾
M hawk 2.2 liter engine on my scorpio in india has done 5,80000 kms with clutch plates replacemnt and nothing else on engine !!! All other consumbales are replaced periodically. Engine and manual gearbox is very potent hauls load effortlessly, but high center of gravity and soft suspension is a big issue above 100 kmph , feels scary on corners i am talking about scorpio suv and not this ute to be precise as suspension and drive dynamics are totally different. I love its well made engine and cheap maintenance
Problem in Australia is parts supply. People waiting up to 6 weeks for parts to come from India...... Im staying with my actual LandCruiser. Parts available on the shelf in nearby every town
We can find land cruisers in India but no Karoo. How ironic. Wish we had these. In India we get bolero pickups from Mahindra. The range of Mahindras outside India is far better.
You clearly do not fit the profile of this market. I wonder what you would say about the new-old Landcruzer for almost twice the price. Not a fare review my boy. A new model is on its way in any case. 😅
Easy infotainment to operate when you can… I could barely do anything on it with the air on menu being present almost all the time. I’ve used the infotainment on the XUV300, it looks quite similar.
You don't won one. This is the most reliable vehicle. All of them are used upto half to one milion km. Zero issue. It's the most reliable vehicle money can buy. You are just another tr 00ll
@@GregDennisReviews yes failed multiple times, long wait for parts, warranty support not very supportive. I wasted a lot of time and it cost me a lot of money. I finally got a tow truck to dump it at the dealership and I refused to pick it up, left it there. I was going to burn it (literally) but came to my senses in time. Note all this happened in just under 30 000km less than 2 years old. They are promoted as a less expensive competitor to an "overpriced" Land Cruiser. Paid celebrities and paid influencers are doing the promotion neither group use the vehicles. I pity anyone I see buying Mahindra, they think they are getting a bargain. I did enjoy driving it when it wasn't broken but I could not trust it to get me home which could have fatal results in my use case. Nobody buying a new vehicle for market value should have to go thru what I went thru.

I can definitely live with the land cruiser from India 😂😂😂. The one from Japan is not make sure at that price although it's legendary
The Indian Cruiser 😂
Yeah man, i wanted the lc300 but no bookings, i am still thinking weather to wait
For a work horse bakkie this is perfect. And at the price even better. FYI I would never pay a million for a bakkie designed 55 years ago.

Parts are actually quite a big problem for Mahindra, waiting periods can be on par with that of French manufacturers

Jimny you see the flaws ignore and move on again and again and again while karoo has issues 😮good review mate so balanced so professional
This is a lifestyle off-road truck not a city car use my one daily in the mountains and dunes After 70 000 km it still go strong
Cool video as always Greg! Where do you even get all these cars from? Do you own them?
I am glad I was not the only one thinking this is your apocalypse bakkie 😂
Haha it sure looks like one 😂

Bro this is an amazing review 🔥🔥🔥
Its definitely the Indian Land Cruiser 🎉🎉
I wish Mahindra release bolero camper or pickup in south africa
For someone who wants a real work horse
Bolero pik up is there in south africa
Anything rides better than a Hilux and a Cruiser 👊

I’ve seen that new-old Land Cruiser is pretty bare bones inside for the price they asking
Love Mahindra ❤
Very informative video
I'm glad to hear you found it useful. Thanks for commenting
You really not happy about it I see 😂😂😂
Have the same model....not the first review that does not know how to work the infotainment...not pro....

Mahindra Scorpio Classic still one of the most popular SUV in India with winner in each and every aspect since its launch in 2002
Garbage quality, I had one. Save your money and buy a better vehicle. It's not tough, it's not reliable.

Did yours give up on you?
