No doubt...fantastic piece of an art needs to be carried over to next generations to come
FACTS! What was it about their music that made it so deeply spiritual and funky... I was 18 or 19 when these songs came out. There were all sorts of chaos, violence, and street BS all around me, but these songs were heavenly.

This is one of my favorite songs by Soul II SOUL. Victoria's vocals are amazing! I remember being 14 yrs old in 1990 (wow 30 years ago LOL) and running to the TV whenever BET would play this song.

Yes but Nellee Hooper was a huge part of the sound of the first two albums, you really can’t ignore his input. His production techniques are why it’s so vibey and dreamy. Compare the first two albums against all the albums after Hooper left. It’s like the sound went from three dimensions to two. None of that third album is anywhere close to this level.

I was going past MTV when I heard a familiar line in a song 'Wishing on a Star' by Rose Royce in the 70's. I like the song but I had to find where else I had heard it before and it was on a Dreams a Dream ...Loved this song, Loved the band and I saw them in the 90's in Sydney.
