You noted how you loved Mitch's regular singing voice - I think you'll love their rendition of "Amazing Grace". As much as I love Mitch's high notes, his lower register in that song just makes me melt. Plus, EVERYONE shines in that song (plus a "Kevin slap")

Thanks for this reaction, Nick! Kirstie always has a great grip on relationships and the issues/problems one finds within close ones. She a really good songwriter but knows to use the help of a professional songwriter to help her perfect her pieces. All of them are great songwriters and often help each other out, Kevin especially. There's a lot of solo work to explore with these guys. Mitch has one ep, Roses, and several impressive singles out under his alter-persona, Messer. Scott has an ep out...Parallel, which is full of great tunes. Kirstie has an ep out, Love. Kevin has his own YT channel, KO ( Kevin Olusola) where he loops cello, keyboard, beatboxing and singing. Matt plays drums and has a great singing voice, but so far hasn't dropped any solo pieces yet.

Such a light and catchy tune with such a heavy message! PTX did it again…made us think!!! Nick you are such a joy to us all…so empathetic and spot on with your reactions. AND, Mitchell…what a gem…I think he is at his very best when he’s just singing in that beautiful voice!!!
I played this for my daughter and had to turn it off after the second verse because she started to cry and broke down. Her past includes an abusive relationship, a near deadly disease with long lasting effects and PTSD from an accident. She said that this describes her perfectly and she just started a new caring relationship. (she has been able to restart counseling). I love this but cry as well.
You should check out Mitch's catalog as "Messer" since you like his normal voice. The videos (I think) are kind of weird, but that voice! One of my favorites is Oblivion.

I couldn’t agree with you more about mental health. I have lived with PTSD for nearly 41 years with my husband. He was injured during the Falklands war at the age of 21 and was and still is a completely different person. I have known him for 51 years married for 41 so I know the before and after. I sometimes feel surrounded with people who’s world to them is collapsing and I’m there for them all. I never felt I needed help for me 🤦🏼♀️ until I lost my mum and I fell apart. This was 5 years ago and I’m still not there wherever I’m supposed to be. I still feel I’m the lucky 1 as I have 8 grandsons and 3 granddaughters who are all within shouting distance from me. Stay safe everyone and please please talk to someone if you need help there is always someone who will listen and can help guide you. X

I saw this video the other day and today I was scrolling down the thumbnails and saw your sad face again. I have to say this: your face was not made to hold that sad stare. I understand is a sad song. I also have been in this situation when I am not too happy with myself, but always someone manages to flip back my self esteem. Or with time and patience and being gentle with myself I reach some type or normalcy. Is always going to be fine in the end. How would we understand what happiness is without the sadness. I would love to see Nick do back to back Oh Holy Night; the first when they were just starting out and Avi was with them and then the newer version. It's such a great example of how far they've come.
