- Lindiwe Sisulu's statements about the rule of law, the Constitution and the South African judiciary continue to spark debate. In one of her online opinion pieces, she says wrongdoing has been legitimised under the umbrella of the rule of law.
Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, weighs in on the rule of law and its influence on society.

Adv Tembeka is very bright and I am happy as he is a shining light of reason in the African wisdom.
He's one of the few remaining pan-African force of change who happens to really have our best interest at heart and for that I'm very grateful. Keep up the good work, I'm happy for in all he does never would he be eurocentric in his approach regardless of circumstances!
We are in this mess because we discarded our culture and our constitution which is ubuntu. Now we have GBV like everyday teenage pregnancy on the pandemic level.
So priceless, that the very people that has been pissing on the countries laws for the last 20 years, now wants to points fingers at other people and demanding that the rule of law must be enforces. How precious is that? Truly a Banana republic.
Adv Ngcukaitobi is by far my most favorite of all the legal minds out there and he is second only to CJ Mogoeng in his articulation of the fact and interpretation of the law. Having said that, I don't think it is right to interview a prospective judge (Acting Judge) about the attack to the judiciary and expect him to not be bias. The adv knows that the state is guided by the constitution and the law on how to run the country. What can the state do when it wants to build houses for the poor but the land is in the hands of those who forcefully took it from their rightful owners? To make thing worse, then the constitution states that you must buy it back from them but only if they are willing to sell it. The constitution is mostly good but when it comes to helping the poor and formerly oppressed, it takes a very hardline and side with the establishment.
Well said Sit
There's a lot one can get from Ngcukaithobi's mind, am not sure why he would be interviewed for less 10 minutes, there is always a missed opportunity at play when he comes to air
My advocate.
Ngcukaitobi!!!🥳🥳🥳
All the news room defend the current president they also make when they invite their analysis his/she inline with their mandate
Same constitution dumped Makate because because he's black. The main problem is a human being behind law or constitution. Free to speak and choose
Not yet made a decision on whether or not I like this guy ....not sure if he is for us or against us.....I'm still trying to find out how his rise came about and which media house first aired him and what he talked about... hopefully I will get to an informed and unbiased conclusion
Where are the RET forces in the comments now? Are you going to tell this man he has a colonised mind now?
But to be honest he's not being very honest himself in what Sisulus article implied. The question here posed by Sisulus article is...what role has the constitution played in transforming and addressing the socio economic issues of our society, particularly black African society?
Houses and work is the executive but alas no creativity.

Surprised that Tembeka cant link the sea of poverty to a constitution that support majority being landless. Land equal wealth.
Zimbabweans have their land but they are poorer now than 20 years ago. Surprised that you can't link that land ownership doesn't equal wealth.
The wealthiest people of the world didn't make their money from land ownership.
The constitution is not at fault . The fault lies with the ruling party for not implementing it.
For Tembeka to imply that everything Lindiwe said is false is highly pretentious and overly simplistic. For him to say that the constitution has no role to play at all in the poverty of blacks is utterly a lie. The man is eyeing some positions and that makes him an unreliable pundit in these kinds of issues.
Ngcukaitibi ,the one who disbanded anc ret branches in court in favour of cr17,visited zondo at his home with witness leader Pretorius before Zuma s appearance for zondo to recuse himself. Lastly he was the one who ,bended the law for charging Zuma for 15month in prison ,instead he breaks following the law of 6 months or a fine
