We dont choose what we refrain from, its obligatory to refrain from all food ,drink during daylight hours, read Quran daily, purification of the mind and spirit. Our Eid Festivities is the Celebration afterwards, something that maybe similar to your Xmas because of the gifts, except our kids know it comes from their parents, family or community. No Santa Clause. Hope this helps

Its crazy how the internet create problems when there isnt any. Bilal's children has been super supportive and respectful towards me and vice versa. We are a blended family and I thank God that im blessed to have bonus children who are loving, kind and grateful.

I'm not a Muslim, but my daughter is a river Muslim. This is our third or fourth year celebrating Ramadan. Sometimes the woman has to have input and knows better on a dining room. Table that don't look right with them. 2 different goldfixtures in their different color goes. The big moon shape a thing that lies up. It was good dear the other thing that says Ramadan. I should went on a backwall under the mirror glass. That's on the backball back there. Those 2 items do not look classy nor good together. One thing about your culture. The men have more safe than the woman and I don't like that. I think a marriage just fifty-fifty and I'd like to walk alongside. My man not him back. And I would like to feel like my opinion. Matters this is just a black woman in today's world. But you shouldn't at least let her decorate the table like she wanted to says you had saying everything else

The battle of the sexes for some of you are destroying families, communities and society as a whole. There is no battle in our home we both love and respect each other and value each other. P.S. My wife is the one who actually picked out all the decorations for our table and she simply asked my opinion as I asked her opinion on matters too. ✌🏾

We actually Fast a Month and the Eid Celebration is at the end. Not the same as Xmas
