Just tried it, its awesome! It took about and hour and a half, but it was worth it! I have VERY thick hair but it was still awesome. I used a whole box of straws but that is probably the only downside, would 1000% do again.

I'm a hairstylist and have a client that wants BIG almost kinky hair but I didn't have a perming method that would give it the definition. I think if I find long and thin enough rods I'm gonna wrap it like this. This was so helpful thank youuuu!!! Also Idk if you're licensed but if you aren't you would make an amazing hairstylist. There's too many people that do it these days just as an easier degree. We need more hair ARTISTS.

@@ameliahsanto5535 Yeah, i got my mum to do it, took 2 hours but its really easy to do, if you want bigger curls do smaller hair pieces but it requires a lot of straws and bands, also it lasted for a few days if you dont brush it out :)

Oh my lord I love this! I've always longed for super tight curls since i was tiny so my mama used to always put my hair into super tiny braids after washing my hair then leave it overnight but now with how busy she is I've had to do without (I could crimp my hair but it just doesn't look the same. I'm so glad I found this video, will difinitley try this out.

helppp! I have straight hair and I used this technique, it turned out perfect and everything but I need help on how to brush them out or wash them out back to my old hair without ripping my hair out❤️
It's best to use a tangle teezer brush and maby some detangling spray. Don't rush it, take your time.

this looks amazingly natural but to make it even more natural you could use different size straws (as most curly girls have various textures) and some back combing at the top to disguise any straight roots.

My hair is super poker staight and I've tried everything to make it hold a curl. But it just goes straight after an hour, no matter what styling products or tools I use. Maybe this method will work for me!
After sitting under the hooded dryer keep the straws in over night, this might help to make the curls last longer.

Yes, you can try to roll the hair on a straw and if the hair stays on the straw go for it :)
Will it come out the same way with a different Mousse?
If you use a holding/styling mousse it will look the same

Thank you very much for watching :) You could get a perm to make your hair curly but it's also not forever because your straight hair will grow out and then you have to re-perm it but trust me a perm won't look as good as this straw set does. Perm culs look often limp and not bouncy.
