The "stick to the right" rule works in most cases. As a bonus, once you've taken a few trips through them, you start to recognize before entering a sidecave if it's a dead end or not, and can eliminate several unnecessary branches. If you avoid combat, can whip through most on foot in roughly 3-5 minutes.
For the despawning and respawning of the boss in the dungeons I found that you only need to run to the set of torches within the previous room. So for example in your video there were two set of torches when you were moving away from the boss the set inside the hallway and then the other set in the previous room. You'd go to the latter then turn around and run back and that would be enough distance to have despawned the boss.

Yeah I do like dungeons a lot. The end chests give lots of junk worth a lot of gold, and the end boss is (usually) a fun fight and gives lots of exp even when killed and not captured. Going to dungeons 2 to 8 levels above your current level is a great way to grind levels, as the exp you gain is flat, while the 10 capture bonus exp is based on your level. Early game do dungeons and once youre past 40 go catch those 10 lamballs and cattivas for 5k exp each, cos exp needed to level up scales really steeply up in those final few levels
fengalope is probably best for dungeons.. just a smidge slower then the rayhound, but it can jump past any somewhat difficult terrain.. also a doublejump gives you a clear overview of the entire room if youre looking to mine crystals... 9:03 it can also jump up the room with the wall in 2 jumps np.. barely falls short with 1 double jump.

Shadowbeak somehow fits through all the doors and with a single jump he also fits through cracks, got mine with the speed^3, attack^3, def^3, and the one that gives a lot of attack and -workspeed and it rushes so fast through everything and oneshots all bosses with the OP lvl 40 attack, by far my favorit dungeon runner, its way faster on the ground then in the air, but the option to fly if needed is still there. The big downside is that shadowbeak is not particularly easy to get (even breeding takes a lot of steps) and the saddle is only unlocked at 47, which is really far into the game.
Turns out IV's don't matter when you learn that the "meta" is boosting player attack using Gobfins and whatever ride gives you element damage when you ride or have it out. Turns out players are the better Pals overall. The damage you can unleash with a shotgun, AR or rocket launcher is more than any Pal will ever be able to do and IV's will not help with this.

Thanks, us console players have really been wondering about these mysterious places
To avoid getting lost just use the old maze trick of always going right or left
Man, now I have to go play Palworld. Oh no! What have you done? lol.
fenglopes are the best for me , high speed , double jump and good damage .
tips for any kinds of maze:
always turn left in a maze, whenever you got a deadend, walk back and turn left. no brain cell used, and never get lost.
You can get dungeon pals from the Black Marketeer. I bought my first kilmari from an npc before I knew they where dungeon only.
They scale that way because the lower levels are near the spawnpoints.
Not on Xbox atm. Game crashes.
if your always getting lost always pick the same direction always go left or always go right you go left into a dead end room come out go left repeat till you find boss
your stuttering seems real bad. are you on steam?
im getting frequent big stutters on pc game pass
I'm on steam, every 30 seconds I get stutters and I'm playing on practically all low settings. it's the auto save going off that's causing it
This'll be great info when they fix clipping through the wall and flying to the tree room just to clip back in. xD
They look all the same but still the game is fun
Just use the left wall method. You’ll get never repeat rooms. And always use the water fork, of course.
"Stick out like a sore thumb" I believe it's because it's hard to bend 😅
that makes sense
Oh, I always assumed it means that the thumb is a different color, like red, because of skin irritation (or damage). Not my native language though, so...
@@vicolin6126 Sometimes a sore thumb will be discolored, but not always. The general consensus is that the idiom was created due to the how we position our thumb when it gets injured.
@@EricHughes124 Very interesting, thank you for the explanation. The saying is to be taken in a more literal sense, got it.
@@vicolin6126these phrases and words always have an origin. Someone new at a construction job would miss their nail and hit their thumb with the hammer. Making them visibly the least experienced.
Similar the word Shit. Which was actually an acronym to label maneur shipments during transport. Methane gas would build and if stored in a lower portion of a ship during transport, could cause an explosion due to nearby furnaces
The acronym was SHIP HIGH IN TRANSIT
I sometimes always hug the left wall to go through the bigger open rooms in order to mine the pig paldium chunks. It is really fast with the refined metal pickaxe and you get out of th edungeon with 160 to 200 paldium. If I need some right now I do that in the guaranteed dungeon in the small settlement. I also used to mine the occasional coal and sulfur rock before I ventured further out on the map and found them naturally.
My favorite mount for dungeons is actually shadowbeak, he goes through doors and small cracks if u jump
I noticed. Going east when you can or north when you cant go east. at intersections brings you to cave boss the fast.
Every time I try to do a dungeon, my game kicks me out to the dashboard. It's really annoying-I can't even do dungeons with my friends in their games. I've already uninstalled and re-installed about four times, cleared my cache twice, and check for updates every single day. FIX THIS PLEASE.
The damage you can unleash with a shotgun, AR or rocket launcher is more than any Pal will ever be able to do and IV's will not help with this.
yes because taking every right, until you've found the treasure and the boss, or every left.....is very hard to do.....I've also never had the switching of the boss to work either, no matter how far I went back. Seems to be patched.
It doesn´t matter, I am on my way to the third 50 ... still havn´t seen a legendary 😀. The best I have found so far was a rare shotgun and a few epic low level blueprints for armor which become useless fast.
The dungeon bosses drop schematics so you can capture and then butcher for extra chances and resources
all become obsolete when you fight the worldbosses.
@@Abducktednot all of them, even +1 armor and weapons are important and helps tremendously with harder world bosses, you cant mass hunt world bosses for better gear without at least decent gear
@@Abduckted that's if you're lucky. Sometime I just do it one time and got the schematic, but sometime it take forever just to get one. Just +1 schematic is already good enough.
Its easy to find the right way. When you have multiple directions. Look for the door with the big frame. This will get you there up until the final room. Final room doesnt have the big frame. So if you see a round room with 4 ways, check for that big tree in boss room
You'll notice there's 3 patterns after you pass the first door.
Big Room : Keep Left.
Modern Room : Straight, then go right.
Narrow Room : Keep Right until you found Y path, then go left immediately.
Is it a meme on this guy's channel to pronounce something wrong in every video or something? My bad if this guy's illiterate or something, but wtf is a shhhkematic
Fenglope is best mount for dungeon traversal.
What u mena YES u need to fo them why cause there's pals u can't get in the outside world total pals there's 138 not 133 trust me there's way more in the caves I have them all 😅😅😅
Yeah, after the latest update. I went through 2 dungeons, and the chests are now empty. I also tried 4x to to go through the same dungeon and kicked every time
If you see the mini boss in the dungeon if you want another boss go back to the last room then go back to the miniboss they will be a different boss.
As an Xbox player i can confirm no they are not, with the way the game currently runs dungeons are a 100% crash rate.
Bred a monster Fenglope for dungeon crawling. he has swift and runner, easily the most fun ground mount ive used.
Until they fix the no clip with flying mounts in a dungeon I fully go in every dungeon and just cheese to the boss 😂
I can only do one without my game crashing so i say sometimes. Hopefully they get that fixed in the future
This dude was doing good till he said, “now it can be hard to see which path leads to the end of the dungeon so when you need to know the path to the end of the dungeon just scan the entire area and discern which path usually leads you to the end of a dungeon. Brilliant. The end is at the end and all I need to do is find the end where the end usually is. Ok here goes nothing!
can't you just use heat armor and cold shirt lv3 and never have to swap anything?
They’re not worth doing on console yet because they make your game crash
I hate the dungeons because i allways choose the wrong way .... a map would be so nice !
I wish I could do dungeons but my game crashes literally everytime I enter one
honestly the Dungeons are boring. They are all pretty much the same across the board
Dungeons are easy if go in and hug right or left wall all the way around back to the beginning.
If you're able to build in these dungeons should leave signs where you've been.
Not if your on Xbox one it crashes as soon as you go in a dungeon
volcano dungeons are 100% not worth it right now. Best to stick to ice dungeons
If you go in to a dungeon and rush to the boss and he is NOT there - good chance there is a shiny in the dungeon some were and he seems to replace the boss at the tree - at least this is what has happened to me
this just happened again - got a shiny Beegarde in a dungeon - and there was no boss at the tree, hope that helps
You can also get the boss with a shiny pal in the boss room. Happened to me once. caught them both.
I thought I had to exit the dungeon then come back to reroll the boss. Thx for that bit of info
