You are doing a great job. Allways stoked when you do a review about a game I am interested in, which happily happens more often than expected. Thumbs up
Your love of Lovecraft games is awesome. Thank you for cranking out all these Cthulhu reviews. On one of your reviews you quickly mentioned the book Ghouls of Miskatonic. Have you read the FFG Arkham novels? Are they any good?
DutchYoda Now there's an idea! How do we recreate the physics and space time bending hellish experience of a Lovecraftian story? One full of dread eldritch horrors and mind warping breaks from reality where time and space lose all meaning? And wed that to a train theme? What about "British Railway Transport; the simulation"! Aka Ticket to Terror!
Looking forward to trying this one out. I've been hearing all about how great Pandemic is but the original theme totally turned me off. And I hate games that take place on a world map-- reminds me too much of Risk... Fantasy Cthulhu theme is preferable to me, and the board looks a lot better. So I'll finally get the chance to try Pandemic...
Vundal Hey thanks for the critique. What ways do you recommend? One thing that would have helped this one is if the mic I had plugged in actually recorded lol. Unfortunately I had to use the raw camera audio which is never good. I eq'd best as possible
Jack Cho well that's a bit of a stretch, the audio is very mediocre on the verge of annoying, there's a fan like background noise, a small echo, etc. the latest retro did a great job on the review, and the mic he wanted to use didn't record which would've made the audio much better.
Yeah I can't quite describe how frustrating it was to have that mic clipped on and it not record anything. Worst part was was I got a waveform on my phone, but something happened after that I
I love Pandemic and I love Lovecraft so this was a great marriage for me. The mechanics fit the theme so nicely.
You said my exact thoughts. I don't care too much about Pandemic, but the Cthulhu theme did it for me.

I got this for Christmas and love it!
I loved the 1920's so the lovecraft mythos fits me like a glove.

I like this one. It's the only one I've read so far. This author has done books in the 40k universe as well so game IP's seem to be his wheelhouse.
The Latest Retro Board Game Show Our tastes match up most of the time. I'm gonna Hunt down the Dark Waters trilogy and give it a shot.
Gamera 23 I got it on iBooks fairly cheap.
Still no Lovecraft version of Ticket to Ride 😂

or Legendary C'tuluh.
DutchYoda I can't tell you how bad I want to play ticket to terror now.
We can ask the boardgame makeover.
I see 'locomotives' influencing sanity. This could and should be done.
DutchYoda as long as we get a Marklin of Madness expansion.

I LOOOVE this game! Great review Bryan!
Liquid Mind thanks!!! I had a blast with it.
I saw this at a local store recently. Hadn't heard of it until then. It looks cool. Hope I can try it soon.
The audio seems a bit hollow? When it was face on
Audio better when it was on the board game jst fyi
fix your audio.

Vundal Fix your constructive criticism.
The Latest Retro Board Game Show Your audio is fine, dude. Enjoyed the review!
