I've just discovered KNIPEX. He's right, the Cobra xs fits perfect in my pocket for whatever I can think to use them on. Wife hates em because I also use them as a "fidget spinner" and the clicking gets to her haha. Great tool as well 👍🤙
In my shop I personally own roughly 10 pump pliers, 4 parallel flat jaw pliers, and 3 mini sets. At my work, we employ nothing but knipex water pump pliers. They clearly are the best you can get. And the price is great considering years later and only 1 set shows any teeth wear. Guess my edc needs these little guys now.
Take my money! ( make more edc stuff btw, knipex is the only company at the moment who makes better pliers then leatherman in the same size! ) i have several leatherman's but the wrench 125mm kicked all of them out of my pocket and im sure this thing will even more! nice job.
A suggestion. Add a hole at the end of the handle for hanging it to a belt and it'd be even better. Make the hole that for 1/4" tool bits would be even better.
I got this one and the 125 wrench one and i have to say.. while this xs is great and smaller and lighter the 125 wrench just has such insane leverage ... The difference is day and night! And yes this one has teeth and the wrench one does not but since ot has such insane leverage pressure it will never let go of anything anyway... PLEASE make a 100mm wrench one with the same button and parallel pliers it will be a gold mine!!
Already awaiting $170 worth of Knipex tools from Lowe’s..got a kit coming but now I want these..perfect for pocket carry ..I have the 5 inch pair for work but may get these for EDC..kinda like with the compact size they left off the handles and just added texture and grip to the metal handle... and
Implement the XS mechanism in your full size pump pliers!…. I would buy a full set if they had the same adjustment tech👌🏼 (I had to return my 10” quick set version because the teeth rolled when I was ripping brass at my job 🤔 somehow the teeth must not have been hardened properly😢
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and am a girl, with smaller hands. I am looking at these for opening water bottle caps, juice bottle caps and such. Do you think these would work for such a thing or would the 5'' or 6'' be better?
The 4" should work fine for any cap 1" or less. The handle will give lots of leverage. If gripping the handle hurts, use a handcloth to spread the force around.
German video: ruclips.net/video/ti9Pfhht0lM/видео.html There's no debate, it's a German company called Knipex [knipeks]. Easy if you speak German. :D Just like BMW, Porsche, VW, Mercedes, etc. - I am yet to hear an American pronounce those correctly/as-is, but I understand the resistance. Rammstein fans are cringing even harder. :P Use them and enjoy them, call them how you wanna, as long we can understand each other - that's all that matter. ;) P.S.: Having a cool/sexy ass German teacher and watching ProSieben helps a lot! :D
A lot (not all) of companies do not send to POBs to avoid getting scammed out of shipping costs when recipients decide not to collect for some reason. Noticed this around 2008.
Hi Luis. The main difference between the two pliers are the adjustment positions. The 5" has 13 adjustment positions and the 4" has 11. The 5" also features non-slip plastic coated handles and the 4" are rough embossed. Hope that helps!
Hi. You can review our list of global subsidiaries and sales representatives on the KNIPEX website here: www.knipex.com/en/contact-service/subsidiaries-sales-representatives/
One grandfather went mad because of your hundredth cobra, another young boy began to twist everything for her - even a bicycle. Germans, when will you stop making fun of the Slavs?

Can you imagine a Knipex folding pliers?,... I love everything I can put on my EDC bag, and Knipex hit the spot with this mini pliers

So excited about these! One of the best new tools I've seen in a while.
Knipex cobra is the best engineering on the planet hands down

Finally got my XS. I live in Africa btw. Awesome tool highly recommend for EDC!!! Next up is the size bigger

finally english version thanks.
You can tell it's a native German speaker by the way he pronounces the T's
I bought this because it’s cute. Didn’t know about these features.
I wish Knipex would do more of these as well as tool education translated to English as this one was (or good subtitles).
nice. hope to see more 4 inch tools
Very nice product, i love it!
Very good tools!!!!

My KNIPEX tool collection is getting bigger and slowly replacing my older tools.
Fantastic tool gotta have it
UPDATE: Felix called Knipex (in Germany) directly to find out what they call themselves: K-nEE-ex.
Gotta love a guy who doesn't mind being wrong. 🧡
K-nEE-pex
Getting a couple of them, one in my toolbox and one going in my pants pocket which I am going to carry with my Leatherman multi tool.
The smallest model looks interesting
Hi. What's that contraption you used to demo the Cobra XS called? Is there an instructional on how to make one? Thanks

I don't know what this "self clamping" feature is that you reference. My Cobra XS "self clamp" precisely nothing.

Ohh, that mighty shorty❤️
I was hoping to see him stand on the XS too

I was a channel lock guy but no more. I will only use these now.
Good choice.
Put a flat blade on the end of one grip and a Phillips on the other.
Just got a set of these. Was wondering if they are suppose to line up perfectly when closed or should we expect them to be offset by about a mm?
That is normal. There is always lateral tolerance on the jaw positioning. We hope you put the new set to good use!
All you need now is a cobra XM for a keychain the M is for micro
"Abenteuer Alltag" wird übersetzt mit "Everyday Carry"
Amazon won't send me one because I use a Post Office box.
.
Does it explode or something ?

Is there a huge difference in performance between the 4 and the 5 inch cobras?
