    We should have listened to Faustin.
    Faustin was crazy, but he was never traitorous like Dimitri!

    • @justsomeguy747
      @justsomeguy747 18 дней назад +7

      Faustin was not that better than Dimitri in my opinion, a merciless killer who cheated on his wife and shown her no care, a man who didn’t really care for his daughter, who got people around him into trouble so that he’ll get his way. “I care about discipline and loyalty” is untrue, based on how he executed Andrei for no reason and turned on Petrovic, and he was shown to have no discipline himself. He’s no coward, but I doubt he was the type of person that would let Niko go.

    • @Comrade_Alyosha
      @Comrade_Alyosha 17 дней назад +5

      @@justsomeguy747 I think that executing Andrei was indicative of a deterioration that had been going on for some time before Niko showed up; as Dimitri said himself, Faustin wasn't always like that.
      Had Andrei taken Faustin's criticism without giving him stink eye, he might've lived. But the reality is that after the huge blunder of bringing Niko and Roman to Faustin's house (already not something he should have done), and then coming close to cutting them up when it was not necessary, his future in the organisation was already pretty bleak -- and then he had the audacity to show impudence to his boss when reprimanded for it, which ultimately sealed his fate. It may seem quite unhinged on Faustin's part, but the only difference between him and Pegorino was that Pegorino would have just gotten somebody else to do it for him. It's not a lack of discipline in my opinion, it just comes with the territory of being part of a crime family in Liberty City.
      The trouble is that Niko always saw himself as just a mercenary for the criminal underworld. Faustin didn't want a mercenary; he was a soldier and wanted soldiers, but was always willing to give Niko the benefit of the doubt despite that. Remember, it was Dimitri that wanted him dead from the beginning, not Mikhail.

    • @justsomeguy747
      @justsomeguy747 17 дней назад

      @@Comrade_AlyoshaI appreciate your input. While Dimitri is a scumbag, Andrei seemed to have been an efficient enforcer for the organisation. Mikhail kills whoever he wants; that’s part of his lack of discipline, he always gets his way. Mikhail shooting Roman is an ample proof of his psychotic nature, and he was likely very high at that time. Mikhail does what he does because he feels like it, similarly to Dimitri betraying people. I don’t think Andrei was looking at Mikhail disrespectfully; he was probably anticipating him to pick up where Andrei left on.
      Mikhail may did not want Niko and Roman dead but his behaviour shows that he didn’t care either way because he does shoot Roman and pretty much used Roman as leverage over Niko.

    • @abdulraheem468
      @abdulraheem468 17 дней назад +3

      He shot roman because roman wouldn't shut up if he'd kept his mouth shut he would haven't shot him

    There's something I wanna say. I get that Niko caused Roman to be in trouble but Roman needed to take responsibility for his actions. Niko worked for Vlad cuz Roman owed him money and Roman got shot simply because he didn't listen to anyone, even Niko was telling him to shut up. I love Roman but Roman was an idiot for screaming. Who was gonna hear him while he's in a basement?
