Does the heat setting 1-2-3 also control the heat to the Shield also ? The way i understand the Heat controle is just for the helmet " garage". and shield is always on at 100% regardless of heat settings ?
I had distortion and frost issues with the visor. Replaced under warranty and still had distortion issues. Ended up wearing my old HJC another season, at least I could see. For $600 I was very disappointed. Sold it for a big loss to someone else.
Best helmet on the snow, works as stated. I ride 1200 mile backpack trips and a good helmet is a must and this helmet performs. It's expensive, but this is an expensive sport.
I really like my Oxygen helmet...some improvements for consideration: First, the capability to change the color of the rear LEDs would be great, this is often used to provide rider identification. Many riders (myself included) use a communication system and an integrated dc-dc converter and USB port would be great as that would address the limited battery life of some of the communication devices. The front LED is pretty wimpy and it requires a battery...not great in my opinion.
goes on for 5 minutes about the visor ... totally ignores the obvious fact that this is a sad replacement for the bvs2 and its hundreds of $ more ... for a helmet that has a 10 cent breath box that you can REMOVE to drink something .. no wonder the visor is droned on about .. only good feature is the collar ...
Cory Coulter totally worth the money. It really is amazing. My wife thought I was nuts for spending that kind of money. Now she says it’s the best piece of gear we have ever spent money on. Game changer!
I just bought one of these. Spent $600. Went home, opened the box. Zero instructions as to how to operate the electrical portion. Called dealer. Dealer says that I have to bring snowmobile in so they can install (at additional cost) some sort of electrical port that the cord (attached to helmet) plugs into. Absolutely fucking Idiotic. Now I will drive back to the dealer and return this POS and get my money back. Why the hell didn’t the BRP tutorial on RUclips explain how the helmet is supposed to operate. Extremely disappointed in BRP and their very misleading marketing.
you bought a helemt with a heated visor without having the proper connection on the sled and your dealer offered to instal one on your sled for free, because you were the idiot who bought something you couldnt use, and YOU are upset?

That's one slick helmet.

It's been great! Zero fogging...
Can anyone tell me if this helmet is good with prescription glasses. I’m having a tough time finding a good helmet that works.... thanks.
This is one of the many issues the OXYGEN helmet was designed to solve.
Are they only compatible to ski doo ?
Why no e-linq connection to sled like to helmet? Also will probably buy one but my dealer cannot get 1.
Took my idea without sending one for me to try :(
I assume the power source is the snowmobile, which means you have to wrap that cord around your neck
Really cool i haven't used one but would the plug being on the back not be a pain in the ass ? Lol
The price is crazy and its not a modular. Any helmet that has to have a heated visor to stop fogging is a fail.
Don Olypopper I’m not spending 700 dollars on a helmet I could get a modular 3 and a nice jacket and gloves for the price of this helmet
Can this play music through the ear pieces?
You'll need helmet speakers that are compatible with whatever device you're playing music from.
Hi,
I’m buying my first helmet and $600 is just more than I want to spend. What do you recommend on a $300 budget
509
@@waylen4098 I did buy a 509!

Why can’t BRP come up with nice looking gear? Even the snowmobile colours that they come out with are disappointing.
I am curious will you be the new mask company that will help many people survive this COVID-19 pandemic?
wheres the oxygen coming from?
Trees
I bought mine brand new from a dealer for $500
i dont get what makes it worth over 650 bucks.
I thought it was going to have some type of O2 making device in it especially for that price! Fuck that
FOR THAT PRICE IT SHOULD STEER THE SLED AS WELL ...
Looks like a good helmet. But the price of one is crazy
