I enjoy watching your videos. I am pretty sure you are in Ohio as the weather patterns always seem the same? Please keep up the good work and spring will be here soon!

Thank you for your time and the support Scott. I believe the building plans would become too complicated. I am making a lot of hand made custom holes, parts from other items, openings, cuts, trims, etc. I am making this device to fit my needs and requirements. I assume not everyone would like it. But, I will see how this first prototype will come out, and I can then decide if there is an option to possibly provide some simple build plan. It also depends on how the public will like it. It is longer time project because I am basically designing each component separately/on the fly to fit in the case with the best logic and purpose. I will definitely make a detailed video when I am done with this project. Take care!

Great perseverance suggestion instead of leaves to twigs take a little larger piece of dry wood and shave that then add twigs

Nothing wrong with cheating death! I always get the wind in every direction, so I create a windscreen, or firestarter oven - stay strong, & stay frosty 💪

Watch Lars at survival Russia, he did an excellent video on how to use a ferro rod . He started a fire at lower temperatures with minimal effort. Also I noticed a mast on the corner of your house, are you on CB or Ham?

At -15 nothing you can use that was on your person or in the woods is cheating . Most people going out for a day hike have TP with them , well at least the smart one's do . Have done this a few times in the negatives but never as low as -15 . I saw the Epiphany woods bellows on a Utube channel and got one and it has saved my ass a few times . Nice video , you did not cheat , stay warm ......G
