I feel like you've really hit the nail on what's so bothering, when everyone is so desperate to carve their own "unique, personal style" that it really just becomes a repetitive cycle of pinterest-core on one hand, I'm glad we're encouraging people to wear what makes them happy, but when someone wears something that genuinely makes them happy but isn't the convention, we either turn a blind eye, act baffled, or outright ridicule them.
Red is my absolute favorite color and has been since I was a kid. I’m never going to stop wearing it, even when the trend cycle inevitably shifts. Plus it suits me and makes me feel powerful, so I like it for that too. Moral of the story is, wear what you like and what makes you feel confident. Being unapologetically you is what makes you stylish! 💕
I HATE the Adidas shorts or pants with a nice blouse and like ballet flats.. I dont get why everyones in love with that sort of combo but it never made any sense to me and just looks like you dont have any idea what occasion you're dressing for,
I became a lot more open to trends I don't like because the gap between trends online and what people actually wear is so big, at least where I live. some of these would annoy me so much in real life but I never seen any of them in the wild. to me it's just what the people in my phone wear in their posts, so I'm a lot more supportive even if I think it's something silly.

I like red on pink and red on purple. I feel red is corageous by default in a world of muddy ''quiet luxury'' tbh haha I'm probably biased because burgundy is one my best colors and I wear it even when it was cringey lol And I did the sandwich method before it was a ~ thing ~ but that's just because I'm kinda of obsessive about matching stuff (once I matched my eyeshadow to my shoes - both in lilac - just for my own twisted pleasure, didn't expect anyone to notice and people complimented me on it haha) When it comes to dress over pants I'm praying that lead to longer tops. Long story short I moved to Pakistan where the traditional attire is shalwar kameez...the equivalent, kinda, to a dress over pants. I'm not really a fan of the extravagant patterns, BUT I do love the look now and am more prone to wearing pants under dresses when I come home to the US.
I think the sandwich method is an easy and simple entrance to styling and that's the main reason it has become so popular. It takes less effort than other styling methods, and most people want to look good without trying too hard. It's good as a starting point, but naturally, you would need more effort to impress people who are really into fashion. Same with the pop of red, I think it's mainly an attempt to look bold without drawing too much attention to yourself - most people (including myself lol) are too shy to try something flashier. Talking about skirt/dress over pants, this trend reminds me a lot of dress + turtleneck underneath it. And I actually like these two trends because I used to feel too exposed and naked when wearing dresses or skirts and these trends helped me to desensitize myself to it. I still won't wear short skirts without pants underneath and I'm really happy this trend came back cz now I can wear all the cute skirts/dresses without feeling overexposed. Even when the trend goes away I think I'm gonna stick to it.

I love an easy sandwich to make so usually its just pumpkin seed sourdough, lots of butter, tomato and any cheese with chilli seasoning. sometimes I add pesto. close second is peanut butter with honey, bit messy but so good

But i think when it’s just red accessories it looks way too planned out and rigid to me and looks a little ridiculous. Also looking back in a few years,all those outfits are going to look soo dated. Oh and very unpopular choice but I love a good sweet sandwich with cream, jam and strawberries😭 my mum used to make them when I was little and they’re very comforting
