He sold it, not his car anymore. But also never understood selling a car and continuing the connection. I guess if it’s a collectors car? But choosing to get rid of a car I feel like should cut that emotional connection
@@BudderChicken101my dad just sold his 1974 mercury cougar that hes had since day one. I’ve never seen him cry before and when he sold it he burst into tears.
The mixed emotions as the previous owner. Bottom line, very happy to see this GSR in good hands. She's not too far gone. Under the hood is so OG still 👏🏻
Light restoration+tasteful upgrades like a nice exhaust would be cool… considering it already has aftermarket suspension. All I have on my dc2 is suspension, air intake, and catback exhaust. Still has that “stock” look
I'm excited for this one, no worries that you're working on two hondas right now! if it was me I'd go stock header/cat + aftermarket catback. someone parks one of these regularly in the outdoor parking lot near my work and i'm always a bit scared for it, but maybe they intentionally park it near a major road for safety lol
ALWAYS CANT WAIT for a new bendaga video!! Im commenting every video now Bendaga, Ur just a guy an the internet but this bendaga guy on the internet Is my favourite guy/channel on the Web Keep it up!!❤
This channel is cool and I appreciate the content. This is some very very very very good automotive content. It’s nice to see you going out and pursuing cars like this
wow for this kind of car shi its a beauty seeing this car in good condition i have a 97 Acura integra ls sport it has a b18b1 engine with 261k miles with good front interior its clean but the last owner gutted the back seats just to install a rear strut bar for the ride to be smoother which doesn't bother me but overall love the car and shes in good condtion very awesome to see this car nice and running!
loving this!, sidenote: i believe for 98-01' integra's the hatch needed to use the key to open them, compared to 94-97' you could just pop it open from the drive seat.
I found u on the RUclips shorts and seeing good and cool cars in the bid actions and then subscribe and watch ur rebuild on the bio Honda and now this u actually help get me to work on my 92 integra when I was at my lowest and my back was on the wal after I had a hit and run with a drunk drive but I’m glad to be ur subscriber bro can’t wait to see what ur gona do and what’s the next step after u fix the minor miss haps
Awesome vid! I'm still driving my 2000 GSR, for over 20 years now. But will retire it soon, sadly. Couple oil leaks that will be too costly to fix. Plus need a 4 door car next for the child seat lol.
Just curious; how was it stolen and joy ridden if the immobilizer wouldn’t let it start? Or are you saying they also stole the key…and if so then why is the ignition ripped apart? Great car!
Keep its stock, alot of peps will gives you alot of appreciation to have one in mint conditions. I know i get alot of comments on mine every time i take it out for a spin around the block. But anyways good luck on souring for oem parts. It's hard to see one that's still stock. Best of luck to you.
I mean I'm I'm sure you figured it out already but when you took the jump box off in the car shut down that means it's a broken alternator or it's unplugged because the car should be able to run with no battery
The guy who bought it on cars and bids probably made the mistake of trying to use it as a daily. You cant daily a DC2 Integra. You just can't. It WILL get stolen.
My BMW got stolen from one of its preowners. But the preowner didn't change the oil in over 30k miles and 4.5 years. So you could say that the thieve rescued the car from the bad owner.
How do thieves get around the immobilizer? I have a black 01 GSR and I thought it would be sufficient to keep thieves away..or Atleast from them driving it away 😢

I want you to restore it but don't mod it keep it in prime condition
The previous owner must feel reassured knowing his Acura is in good hands now.
I hate to be this guy, buuut…
54 likes and no replies, let me change this

They sold it tho. So if they really cared it would be in their possession.
@@AndrewKidd14145 sometimes people neeed to sell stuff
i work at acura, and we get a lot of these old Teggys in 9/10 conditions. i would say keeping it stock+ is always a better look than fully modified
oem plus ftw
I got to meet a Lady who until recently owned a GSR for 20 years, A well known ice storm put an end to that.
The mixed emotions as the previous owner. Bottom line, very happy to see this GSR in good hands. She's not too far gone. Under the hood is so OG still 👏🏻
thanks for providing us with a backstory, really appreciate it! 🙏
Man, gotta love these old Honda's and acuras !

OEM+ is always the answer for older JDM cars like this gem of a Teggy! Excited to see how the restoration goes man enjoy! ☝🏼
Bro you struck GOLD with this car! Easy exhaust repair, starts, no leaks
For the radio code,if I remember, you maintain the 1 and 6 button which will give the code for Honda to give you the other code to unlock it
You should be able to find the code on a sticker in the glovebox.
Or get the serial # and to to the Acura website and you can still get the code.
This is the first time I watch your full video, I love it!
I wish this man can save more cars.
That check engine code is most likely for the missing O2 sensor

Pretty sad backstory with the car, but it’s in good hands now :)
Looking forward to following the progress!
Never been so early before, keep it up with the bangers!
Such a cool project, been watching your videos for about a year and feel like I’m learning more about cars with each video. Keep up the great work!
I love the fact that even your ads are so chill
ALWAYS CANT WAIT for a new bendaga video!!
Im commenting every video now

nice car, want to see more
Actually crazy how clean the car is
Congrats big dog! Happy for you man the sky’s the limit! 🎉
You said it well my man I'm a big Honda Acura fan. I have a 2012 Acura TL and I absolutely love it.
This channel is cool and I appreciate the content. This is some very very very very good automotive content. It’s nice to see you going out and pursuing cars like this
These videos make me miss my 1994 Integra 4 door gsr
I love this video your content is amazing
The Z in the backround is fyeeeeeeeeee
These older Hondas are keeping up with modern vehicles. Don't forget the tire technology they have back in the day and comparing to what we have now!
Looking forward to the evolution of this car from damaged, dirty, starter pack dependent to a fully operational whip.
Straight pipe, sticker over the check engine light!
Nice. I'll be following this build/restauration.
Aftermarket exhaust and headers would be a lot easier
Very cool! A great find too!
Put a killswitch on that teggy asap
Cant wait to see a first drive!!!

i will watch your progress on Acura
Great work! Keep it up! I think you should keep it stock verison. Really interesting to watch. Waiting for the pt. 3!
sometimes the code on radio is from back of radio. works in EU sometimes some radios doesnt have that
the best channel on RUclips!
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH 👍🏎
love your videos man👍👍

I work at Honda if you ever need the hook up on parts lmk :) I love watching your videos
I agree with alot of people in the comments, OEM+ is soooo much better than fully modified
Part of the exhaust that got cut is the cat, that explains it.
11:04 below the transmission is where the cat got cut and stolen
sorry below the engine i forgot about the honda's weird engine displacement
O2 sensor was also cut
Could be wrong but most likely sure the check engine light is from that cut out o2 sensor.
Just curious; how was it stolen and joy ridden if the immobilizer wouldn’t let it start? Or are you saying they also stole the key…and if so then why is the ignition ripped apart? Great car!
My opinion keep that beauty stock.
I had one. I want another . These are embarrassing the new ones
Keep its stock, alot of peps will gives you alot of appreciation to have one in mint conditions. I know i get alot of comments on mine every time i take it out for a spin around the block. But anyways good luck on souring for oem parts. It's hard to see one that's still stock. Best of luck to you.
dam! can't believe I'm late this Sunday
i say give it a tune or even maybe a small turbo but don't overdo it, a little more power never hurts.
How were you able to obtain a new key/immobilizer to get it started?
Great car had one in 2005..... But the hair!!! It's getting bigger!
id go catless and straight pipe it to prevent another one getting stolen. That engine sounds clean and throw in a KN intake
I mean I'm I'm sure you figured it out already but when you took the jump box off in the car shut down that means it's a broken alternator or it's unplugged because the car should be able to run with no battery
I hope you change the oil and checked all the fluids before you fired up
Bro keep this car OEM i liked this car as a stock it will look great as it looked before❤
The guy who bought it on cars and bids probably made the mistake of trying to use it as a daily.
You cant daily a DC2 Integra. You just can't. It WILL get stolen.
Unfortunately that’s the risk for any 90-00’s early Honda’s.
How did the thieves steal the car if it has an immobilizer ? Did they get their hands on the right key too ?
Yeah that’s I was thinking too
Their is a way in which you can perfectly steal a car without making voice
That previous owner may know the radio code.
I want to buy it lol
My BMW got stolen from one of its preowners. But the preowner didn't change the oil in over 30k miles and 4.5 years. So you could say that the thieve rescued the car from the bad owner.
How do thieves get around the immobilizer? I have a black 01 GSR and I thought it would be sufficient to keep thieves away..or Atleast from them driving it away 😢
Awesome video bro!! What camera setup are you using ?
iphone and lapel mic
How much was it at the auction in that condition?
better get a jdi keyless push to start
Letsss gooooooooo😊
Arizona car nice
was that EricTheCarGuy's integra?
It's just too clean to mess up with mods, unless you do a period correct style.
You should have seen if it moved
Oem+ and daily it
Immobilizer chip broken probably off that ecu
Keep this as original as possible!!! (If you can)
How did they steal it with it having the key immobilizer? Kinda weird.......🤔
You should fix up and give Eric back.
That wasn't the jack point 😢
Not even close😂
Well it’s good 😅 buy and it’s keeper😅
Integra >
The biohazard civic deserves a k swap im doing it to my 95 gsr and I'm 13
Hehe engine bary
Come on @bendaga first no haircut
Now jacking up such a unicorn on the wrong jacking points, mennnnnnn....
I think you should sell it to me
Tastefully clapped teggy
I feel cheated by the thumbnail. I thought this was gonna be a before and after detail video...
Love the video but way too much talking 🤔🤔🤔
I’m not gonna lie bro tein coilovers are trash 😂
