Where were you in this video, Robbie? I'm looking for a nice fishing spot for a few friends and I this Australia Day and this looks like the perfect spot! 🙂
Absolutely stoked that you finally got a silver perch mate, you will be catching them all over the place now! Another great day out together, and I already can't wait for next time!
Carp, cod, yellow belly, silver perch, 2 minute noodles and my two of my favourite fellas. This was the recipe Professor Utonium used to create the perfect RUclips video... 👍👌
The third time I’ve seen that silver now, first on Instagram, then RKJ’s channel and now on your channel. Glad you caught your first silver mate good on you👍
Ah Robbie I look forward to your vids mate, when this covid 19 crap is over we’re taking a family camping trip up your way with the wife n kids, be great to spend a day with you fishing for trout n cod, loved the stream vid with all those trout, bloody awesome mate, thank you for taking us away from our day to day boredom at the moment. Cheers Dazz
hahaha 😂 your face is priceless when you seen you got your first silver! been waiting for this video since you sent me a photo of it the night you caught it. and another first with a trout cod in the Goulburn, how good! nice work mate 👌
@@robbiefishing haha theres no other feeling like catching a new species, especially if youve been chasing them for a good while. you should get a delivery today or tomorrow 😉👌
Well done on catching your first SP Robbie! They can be tricky little buggers, especially the small ones - when they get to about a kilo they are great fighters!
what you need is a small little bucket with a rope attached to it so you can have a bucket of water ready to wet your hands with, i use one when when fishing on a jetty to get water
Keep telling you to get your arse over more often mate lol. Congrats on the Silver Robbie, lovely mate. Best days fishing in a long time, ticked nearly every box lol.
Although silver Perch are on the protected spieces list.in the months of sept to March they are quite active and there is plenty of them in the lower reachs of the goulburn.
Great to see some footage of you venturing far and wide Robbie into new waterways. Good mixed fishery! You would never know about the silvers without bait fishing. Maybe that's why the cod get big there.
Congratulations on your first silver Robbie. Great to see you encourage some basic fish care. Maybe you can mention in a future video that it's not good to let fish flap around in the dirt and dust for the same reasons. Always good to take a net so there's never a need to drag them up the bank. Keep up the good work 👍
We've been catching the silver perch right down on the lower murray buddy as you've experienced with bait thieves if your quick you catch them best size here 35cm great video buddy definitely lucky dip with alot of action keep up the great work
Great video as always seems to be a fair few Silver Perch around,we catch them in the menindee lake/darling river caught a few 2 weeks ago 30 plus in size very good eating fish but unfortunately silver perch are protected in the Darling river so have to be put back shrimp and small worms are very effective thanks for another awesome video Robbie 😊
Hi mate thanks so much. I dream of getting out that way some time. I reckon about September when it's mild to warm. Photograph reptiles and fish for yellowbelly.
@@robbiefishing it's well worth it for the wildlife and birds even just the sunsets it feels like holiday just going for the day as it's just breath taking and relaxing never know I may bump into you if you decide to visit in September 😊
Hey Robbie do you know that the silver perch makes a noise when you lay them on their side, it sounds like a purring cat. Very faint, but you can hear them. Very popular around the Murchison area too 👍 love your work mate.
Don't lie Robbie you spray painted that goldfish haha, nice session mate. You got some cracking monsters, when you get SP that big you poke them and they're pure muscle, no wonder you think they're Callop.
I could have sworn I heard you say that you wet your hand on Rowan's neck which made me laugh so hard I almost spat my drink out. Then I finally realised you said 'Net'... lol
Thanks Liam. Hey, I had my photo taken for the Border Morning Mail (Albury Wodonga newspaper) last week for the stuff that I do with the Make A Wish foundation. I held the 2 awesome lures that you made me in the photo. Haha 👍👍
Great video robbie, enjoyed both yours and Rohans vids. Any chance you have a link to that small fire thing Haha, would be great for doing catch and cooks by the river
Heu mate. Google "Trangia Stove". Most good camping stores sell them. I have made a few videos with mine over the years. They're fantastic. I absolutely love mine. They run on metho so are cheap to run, and maintenance free. They're been around since the 1930' or 40's. Theyre about $150 these days. You can get cheaper knock off brands, but the original Trangia is the best. Bulletproof and reliable.
I ain't been watching your stuff as much as I used to , but I now notice the wonderful rod holders - although they still not gonna stop you losing your rod to a sneaky fish that bites when you not handy But 100 points for the rod holders just the same
