My favorite feature on the 2016 e-golf is that it still requires you to reset the oil trip on the dash every 10,000 miles just as the gas gold requires:)). It’s still a great little commuter car.
testing old ev's like this is very very useful info for people looking for second hand cars. and yeah, get some paint or water proof surface onto the concrete floor as soon as possible, salt water is really nasty for concrete

Volkswagen should just have done a better e-golf instead of the id3. Looks way better inside and outside, smaller and already a success, it was so simple 😢
Test driving an eGolf almost kept me from buying electric. It was as slow as my '93 Impreza, or worse, and that range sucked. After it I tried a Fiat 500e which was even worse. I had 50 miles of range, then turned on the AC and had 30 miles of range displayed. It wasn't as quick as hyped, and even for a guy like me who likes smaller cars (or just doesn't like the gigantic SUVs and trucks that dominate here) it was tiny. Then I tried a Bolt and fell in love. Now that the honeymoon is over I recognize that 'Beverly' has faults, but she's still mine till she dies (probably). Caveat: This was years ago.
