Just out of curiosity, do you have any issues with the pumpkin cracking in the oven? I have tried baking orbs for awhile now and all of them have very small but annoying cracks all over them. Any idea what it might be and does this sound familiar to you?
After I baked my pumpkin charms some of there mouths came off when i was glazing them 😢. How do you keep them from coming off? Or should I be careful around that area when I am glazing them?
Hello! :) I have two questions nobody has answered yet and would like to know the answer to; what sort of superglue is OK for fimo and other polymerclays? I live in Europe and many glues we have in stores say in their package that "not for PV blahblah plastics"? Where do I check if it doesn't ruin the clay? And also, if I use rubbing alcohol or nailpolish remover, have you had any "melting" in your polymer clay? I'm just afraid that I make a nice piece from my fimo and then ruin it with wrong kind of glue or cleaners. Thank you for anyone who answered! :)
So the first question about superglue- I've never actually looked at that/had a problem with it. I just use superglue from the supermarket and I've never had a problem so I'm not entirely sure sorry! And I've also never used rubbing alcohol so I haven't had any experience with it. When using acetone just don't use 100% (which regular nail polish isn't anyway) because it will be too strong for the clay. I've never had a problem with cleaning my charms with nail polish remover after baking :)
When she has all these elite tools and I have kids derpy ones: hmph When she uses liquid clay: Darn I wish I had that. Oh well I just won’t do that charm
I have one question. Do you know what holiday is Halloween? it is a celebration of the demons and the underworld. Who celebrated and doing something for Halloween alone brings a curse for people who celebrate Halloween and your home. I tell you this for your own good and stop on time.
Debora Alexandrova hahaha. No it's not. The originality is All Hollow's Eve. It was to celebrate the saints. Now it's been turned into an "evil, scary" night. 😂
Hey, if it makes kids happy that they get to dress up and get candy, then that's all that matters. Trust me, never get between a kid and their candy. I tell you this from personal experience. 😂
it's so cute! I just made a pumpkin charm too, your's is perfect!:)
that's good for my brithday in oct 31
you are so awesome at making clay charms!!!!
rachel your DIYs are ALWAYS soo perfect and my pumpkin was an orange blob with wavy lines on it lol
your tutorials are so easy! I've made the kangaroo and now this pumpkin and they're both so cute!!
How do you keep your clay so clean and smooth?
Devika Pharasi a trick is to use rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. It helps to remove the lint/dust and finger prints before you bake it. 😀
This is soo cute
+Devika Pharasi Also you can use cornstarch to rid of fingerprints. :)
+Devika Pharasi I ask myself that every time I do clay/watch a tutorial.
