I need to change out the starter on my 2002 power plus. Any tips ? I have to take off the primary cover first correct ?

I have a 2003 Indian chief deluxe and have been thinking about changing the primary chain tensioner to the Hayden. Which Hayden tensioner do I need. Thanks
