I love the multicolor smoke display and really wish we could see Red, White and Blue behind the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels. It is a more stunning display.

@@stikfly5285 Colored smokes and afterburners aren't a great match I've heard
Blue angels and thunderbirds dont use smoke for a couple of reasons. Its distracting when youre wing to canopy, and afterburners will ignite it .
The Blue Angels used to do colored smoke when they flew the F-4J. They had a bunch of brass watching the show at a site and all of them in dress whites had red and blue specs after the show was over. That was what ended the color smoke. A VIP on the golf course at a Navy base wearing an expensive white golf dress was what got the ball rolling on shutting down the colored smoke.

That f35 f22 a10 and p51 part was amazing so was the green white and red smoke display was amazing especially on startup and the Mitchell bomber was cool and the double p51 was really cool and those old military dc3 and the stunt planes were absolutely amazing

Saw the Italians fly last night, it was amazing
I was at a minor league baseball game in Corvallis, Oregon, a week ago when the Italian Air Force demo team flew over in transit from Sacramento northbound after refueling in Eugene, Oregon. It was a big surprise to see a formation of eleven jets fly over. Nice to see them (briefly) in action in this video!
I was the controller working them on the radar at that time. Saw a photo of them later over Port Angeles, and how tight the formation was. It then made sense why it looked like a single plane, maybe two, on my radar scope.
@@chiefmoe I have a poor quality cell phone image I took at the game. The eleven aircraft are visible, the formation wasn't too tight, but it was a formation. They even put their smoke on for a moment! Thanks for the comment!
It’s always amazing seeing the biggest aerobatic team flying, the Frecce Tricolori are amazing, they use an aircraft that’s a bit old (Aermacchi MB339) but seeing 10/11 planes fly in formation, or drawing a heart pierced by an arrow in the sky is amazing, their rainbow maneuver is also amazing, I get to see them more often because I’m Italian, and at every important festivity they fly in formation over amazing cities like Rome, Florence and others!

Agreed, though, I can also see why they all have white. Gotta be a way to flip a switch to change to color and back off.
@williamcrane8236 The Blues had some for a while with the F-4s I think, thought it rained some red dye on some Admiral's whites. I want flares, flames, and am willing to accept some machine washable colors. 🇺🇸🛩

@@arrowlock Afterburners also eliminate the white smoke from extreme heat. That's why the Blues light the right one, and the smoke keeps going on the left. I would bet they could get it done if they wanted

A-10's trailing red / white / green..... Iranians? Palestinians? Or is it just Mexico, Italy, or Hungry (as suggested above) The REAL question is, why not Red / White / Blue?
I missed the A-10s trailing red/white/green. What is the time stamp? Are you sure you aren't looking at the Italian Demo team's takeoff?
Considering they're having displays in our country they should be trailing red, white and blue smoke not the colors of the Italian flag, no disrespect intended!
They are representing the italian air force of course they are going to have green white and red smoke.
AHAHHAh are you serious? Frecce Tricolori are representing with PROUD, worldwide recognized, Italy and Italian air Force. So, Red, white and green.
