Thanks for the video, it was really helpful. I have since found something interesting about the timer settings. It turns out that the green and red settings are actually temp 1 and temp 2, not on and off. The default setting for red is off but it can also be set to anti-frost, minimum temp or any other temperature setting as long as it's lower than the green setting.
I took one look at the manual, and just didn't bother. I set the time intuitively. I set it 18oC until I went to bed. It really did maintain the heat in my living/dining room. I'm most impressed. I'm glad I found this video.

@@geewiz7605 Thank you for your speedy reply. I still seem to be having a problem with this timer in that it will not switch off when in the off 'red spot' period. Is there a way to re-set the whole timer so as to start from scratch?
Thanks for the video. Can you confirm: 1. if you turn this off at the wall it saves the timer settings? I want to use it for just five days a week and use a smart switch to turn off at weekends. 2. Can you set a temp and then the radiator remembers the temp and turns on if you switch on the plug at the wall? Again, trying to use a smart plug if the timer wont save if the radiator is off for two days. Thanks!
Can you tell me once you have set the timer to come on and off do you leave it as you have shown with the time showing or do you have to then switch the left hand button on which then shows you the temperature you have set. Thanks
The on button on the left is a manual setting which you can turn on with a set temperature at any time. If you want to use the timer function, once set, you will need to power on using the left hand button and the press the timer button on the right hand side which will then set the heater to turn on and off at the times you've just set. If you press the timer and the display shows OFF, this means that it hasn't reached the preset time you have set, and once it does reach that time it will show a temperature on the display and will stay on and maintain the preset temperature until the time you've set it turn off. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the video. I have the same model and timer is ok but how to choose temp when is ON ? Mine is 21° and i want to get more but i don't see where i can change that
Turn the heater on using the on button. On the ON screen... Press the circle dial button once. Rotate the dial until you see a clock icon. Click the dial and then you'll see a green light or red light. Turn the dial to the green light and press the dial. It'll then show the temperature to set and that is the temperature for the timer setting you want.
So the way eco mode works is that whatever your thermostat is set at so for eg. You've set your temperature at 25 and your room temperature is 16. It will use all 3 power levels until it reaches maybe around 20-21 and then it will drop the power level down because it knows that the remaining heat from the high level can take it up to 25 degrees. With eco off it'll stay on full power all the way to 25 degrees. Hope that makes sense.
@@geewiz7605 thanks - finally sorted it all out! As you said the instructions leave a lot to be desired! Also had a COVID brain at the time but now (mostly) better!
Hey, how do you get it to stop showing OFF in timer mode. (as yours shows near end of video). i've got my timings all set but now can't seem to actually get the timer to be on.
If you've got the timer set, should just be able to press the on button and then press the timer button and then depending on your timer settings, it'll show the temperature and be on or show off and will be off until the time you've set it.
While the heater is off/standby mode displaying the time only....press the ON button. Then hold down the circle dial button for 5 seconds which will take you into the clock setting menu. Once set, click the dial button again.
hi. Once it's set, you need to leave the heater on the ON position and then press the timer button to then have it come on at the designated time. during the non functional hours the display should read OFF.
Thanx so much for this most enlightening video. I just bought mine two days ago and I'm so confused with the instructions manual that I simply gave up after just looking at it! Let's be honest, the manual is so damn right confusing...! You've made the difference here and many thanks to you Sir. And a question. That's great to hear and I'm happy it has helped you and many others as I felt the same when I first purchased mine. In regards to your question the answer is yes. I believe its the lacquer on the heater itself which can cause a strong paint smell, I left the doors and window open in the kitchen whilst leaving it on highest setting for around 45 mins. You will likely still be able to smell it faintly even after this for a few days but will be gone thereafter.
This heater is simple but so complicated I've had a go twice now at setting the timer and both times it has not worked... So I guess I have to leave the heater on?
Once the timer has been set, in order to use the timer functionality, you'll need to turn the heater on and press the timer button. 100%. this heater literally pumps out hot air. enough to bring you to sweats if you put it to max. it can heat up a room in 20 mins and also much much quicker than central heating.
I have a mercury thermometer on the living room wall, and that allows me to see what the actual room temperature is at any time. I can say that this heaters thermostat is very accurate! I set the power level to 'Max + Eco', (automatically adjusts the power consumption depending on the room temperature) and set it to 24c from 5am until 5pm, and when the heater clicks off (working power level thin bar goes out) I check the mercury thermometer and it also shows either 24c or just a tad over. I have another of these heaters in the bedroom, and just leave that one on the manual operation constantly, power level set to 'Low' (900w), and with the thermostat set to just 15c. It just prevents the temperature from ever going below 15c in that room (which is very rare for it to fall to 15c).
