I just tried Ajax and I was surprised! It's SO weird not having Luke Cage in a Hazmat deck, but Ajax and Mystique made up for it! I got close to or over 20 power from one card each in two lanes from them, and while giving my opponent negative power as well! I didn't think it would work as well as it did!
Ajax is crazy powerful! I've gotten 20+ power EVERY game I've played with him, and then Mystique to copy him! All while giving the opponent negative power too! Ajax is surprisingly great!
@JeremyCuddlesI'm at CL 14,000 and I've been having a blast with full toxic Ajax. I think it's more a pocket meta thing. I haven't experienced much Luke Cage and when I have I usually just retreat for 1 cube.

I really don't think CassNova will be all that good with Ajax, since he gets power from cards in play, and how many cards from the deck can the opponent play after Turn 3? Yes, she will be a big stat stick but Ajax might just get 3 more power thanks to her at best

I have most cards, and when I pull the mystery spotlight (which I do most weeks), I keep getting Nico, Werewolf By Night, Kitty Pryde and X-23. Over and over!!!! Its very frustrating. Has anyone else similar experiences?
Also Arishem is a VERY close second to Ms Marvel. It’s the same concept but ONLY intended to be used negatively, and the opponent had to SPEND MONEY for it. In fact, its infrequency the only thing keeping it from being number 1 for me.
Funnily enough, I use Arishem in conjuction with Spider-Man whenever I see another Arishem player. It's like an "Eyyyyy my fellow randomized bullcr*ap friend!"

I've been thinking about using the Captain Marvel shrug when I lose and the Ms Marvel Thumbs up when I win, but I don't know. I do love the Captain Marvel one though. I wish the emotes were more accessible, they gotta lower the price in the shop for them before I'm willing to pay for some of the new ones, I want the Ms Time one and the Beast lol

Depends on how many keys you have and whether you have Cull/Thanos. If you're missing one or both, and have at least 3-4 keys, I'd say Nocturne with tokens and roll for Copycat as the consolation prizes are awesome.
@@moshpete0314I have cull and thanos… only important cards I’m missing are nocturne Namora and proxima… I think copycat can replace nocturne in most decks but I have a strong feeling that meta will be to run both

Honestly, I can deal with Miss Marvel since it can be used to say "nice job." However, I can't stand getting hit with the venom emote. It just makes me so angry.
Ajax just feels bad roght now since luke cage hard counters him almost entirely. Him also being ongoing really doesnt do any favors for him either. And get what they're trying to do but it's just kind of messy.
The battles are really good on your videos but I'd like you to include ones where you lose and then go over what you could have done differently to win. I believe you learn more from your mistakes than your successes.

Idea: Just run Ajax as a tech card! You can use it to counter toxic decks, being a near-guaranteed win if the opponent doesn’t draw theirs.

Venom emote is more toxic for sure. Haven't seen the other two, Chavez can be used in a non toxic way so venom is most

Enchantress is more effective than Rogue. With Rogue you steal Luke's ability but you still don't have negative powered cards to feed Ajax
