another great video Neil, question, for you my passenger side window is lined with scratches like its touched something inside the door. i will replace the glass at some point, can i just lift the glass out once disconnected from regulator and then replace? also any idea why it would be scratched ? thanks
very intersting tutorial thanks a lot, is there a reason why electricity dont go on driver window motor? iv tested motor and switch already, just smal click on fuse box wen pressed, maybe a relayer?
Good video. I think it would be worth mentioning the two stops at the top that are adjusted on a 10mm nut. The stops that regulate the windows height and final angle.
And the adjustment on the rails that tilt the glass in and out. I made a 4mm guage to set those and the gap for the glass to the B pillar side.
TABRAO does this also impact movement in the window? My window regulator works fine but I guess due to window being pushed over time to shut the door. The window jiggles a bit in its position, east and west

I have a late 2001 GTV, my passenger side (RHD) window goes down sometimes but really struggles and gives up when coming back up. Had a referb motor fitted to it and it seemed to work fine for a couple of weeks before this happened.
Also the auto drop on the driver's door doesn't always work, needing me to press the window up botton before I shut the door to make the window drop down before closing, would this be the micro switch?
Hi yes it should be the switch try adjusting it. Also grease the runners.

I need to replace the window regulator in my GTV but since I've recently moved to a new city I don't have many tools available and I'll need to buy them. Could you please kindly tell me what are the tools needed for these work, a set of screwdrivers from what I understood and could you tell me please what type of screwdrivers and what diameter? Just a basic tool kit will be enough £40 in any tool shop
Hi, have you done a video on removal/replacement of the door glass? , having undone the bottom 2 bolts will it lift or if you undo the side runner bolts? Thanks.

you will need to get your hand up there with a spanner.

Hi. I have a 2000 series 2 model. This doesn't have auto drop right? Recently my passenger window seems to be higher and doesn't sit in the top rubber. Can the height of the glass be adjusted as well? It suddenly seems to go too high. I'm wondering if somebody tried to get in.

Take out the motor. 3 Philips screws
Great video thanks changed mine out today but now every time I lock drives door it unlocks itself any idea what I’ve managed to do now lol
You need to re position the door card.

If the window is stuck up, even if I were to somehow reach up and remove the glass bolts, how would I be able to close the whole assembly so it can be removed?
you can pull out the motor only 3 philips screws.
