About 3-yrs ago I went to my local store went up to check out and the cashier had to be at least in her 70’s, very frail, hunched backed, bruises on her hands like most elderly get as they age and their skin thins..she couldn’t pick up the gallon of milk to scan it, I helped her by lifting each gallon along with the other items in my cart..I cried all the way home which was 25 min ride. This elderly women couldn’t make ends meet or otherwise she wouldn’t be working. And now that is all you see when you go to the stores is lost of elderly it’s so sad …especially when you know most have all worked their lives until retirement only to get kicked in the stomach by inflation..I get super upset when I see woman here on YT making videos of Foodstamp hauls that have 5-kids or more, no father in the videos getting a full free ride and over $1000 in Foodstamps never worked a day in their lives it’s disgusting and it shouldn’t be happening but it’s generational and allowed ..but the elderly get a while $27 in Foodstamps our world is backwards the ones that do less get rewarded more then anyone in this country -the ones that do more get the thorn in their backsides such as our elderly and our veterans.

Family, I feel the same way you do. It upsets me to see the elderly having to get back out in the workforce, after putting in allllllllll, those years from working just to make ends meet!!!! It's crazy to me, and I don't understand. Like you said, there are those that sit back with a free ride. While the rest of us have to rob Peter to pay Paul!!!!! This world is so backwards until, it's just SAD!
